I never did play KOTOR II...how crazy we talking? Serial-killer level. Has a warped life debt where he kills anyone who saves his life.

Isn't that the opposite of a life debt?

Isn't that the opposite of a life debt? He's broken inside. He corrupts his cultural in born felt life debt into a feeling of utter hatred at owing anyone anything. Kriea and Mira in game explains it better likely than anyone here can. He was held as a slave until he killed his captors. He somehow transfers the idea of a life debt int a form of slavery. SO he kills those he owes a life debt to. He's really messed up.

Face it. When a game gets made into an MMO the lore goes to hell in a gilded carriage with purple cushions. A single player game allows focus on the player(hero) from a designated set of races in a controlled environment where you can if you want have a faction be totally villainous.
There is something terribly wrong in any game where you can have a party constitution like a WoW's Alliance, and Undead, or anything and Undead for that matter since they were previously completely anathema to the other races, Hive controlled like the Zerg and thoroughly evil. But because MMO's try to be everything for everyone lore get tossed out the window, into a trash compactor and then doused in gasoline and incinerated.
Nothing good lore wise can come of TOR. It may make a decent game for those who don't mind sharing with complete strangers their gaming experience but it won't be single player and it will rape the lore.

From what i've seen so far, i think it's compeltely possible to play it alone. Maybe if you have a good friend you can team up and do quests together.

It's a good question the answer of which I will type only in regards to myself.
I hate MMOs. More than you ever hated Ryan Reynolds. They are time sinks reminiscent of second jobs only you have to pay for the privilege of having them. The story which is the main reason I get into a AAA title is junk because it cannot focus around a single important character because in MMOs all the characters are important. The gameplay is crap because it shoehorns you into class roles of "tank" or "support" or "nuker" with no variation. The world is only as interesting as the people who play and by and large aside from the small number of folks I associate with people seem to suck.
Now that was general to all MMOs. For ToR, the game looks dated on the few gameplay shots I have seen. Bioware is bringing very little innovation to the table. It has been in development for freaking ever so it will have several layers of technology shoehorned in which will be...awkward. Whether or not it actually give you your money's worth will hinge solely on it's success. According to some insiders (admittedly many of whom have questionable motives) that's dubious at best. Also Bioware has not attempted to put as much player class balance is is showcased into a game since Baldur's Gate. They were not using their own invented system then so this means they effectively have 0 experience doing something this complicated and varied. It took multiple patches for Both Dragon Age games to balance 3 classes FFS so I have very little hope that they will do better for the varied jedi and non jedi classes I have caught wind of in ToR.
In addition to the above, I have decided that I will not support any MMO out of my afore mentioned hatred of the genre. Therefore any of the above could be tainted by that.
