Not sure if anyone heard the news but there's no multiplayer in ME3.

How will I spend 40 long, miserable hours shooting Krogan with names like 'XiDOLEMITEiX' in order to get to level 50 and space-prestige now? A source would be wonderful though...

Cool, that can wait until the inevitable arcade shooter.

Sadly, it seems that BioWare Mod had it wrong www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/106157-UPDATE-BioWare-Denies-Multiplayer-for-Mass-Effect-3Honestly though, this multiplayer is not a good idea. I really don't think they should be trying to tack multiplayer onto the end of the final game in a trilogy, especially when BioWare have no experience whatsoever making multiplayer games. More development time and disc space devoted to multiplayer ultimately means there'll be less for the singleplayer side of things too. Best case scenario, expect me to be proven wrong, and have BioWare pull a AC:Brotherhood on us, with a inventive multiplayer mode. Worst case scenario, expect team deathmatches, playing as shaven-headed white space marines, with a perk and prestige system, like Call of Duty and it's many emulators.

If it's really got multiplayer, then I will hold off buying it until somebody convinces me that the game's not crap as a result. *

Dammit to Hell. Why does everything have to be multiplayer? Multiplayer has been death to the single player experience. Now I will have to wait to see just how badly bolluxed it is before buying. Oh Hell who am I kidding? I'll probably preorder like I already have. for the other 2

Apparently, Jack Wall is getting fired to make way for a new composer: Clint Mansell. Don't get me wrong, he's done some brilliant work, but it'd be like firing John Williams for Danny Elfman on Return of the Jedi. Is it like that? I dunno. Here's some of his works that I'm aware of: pc.ign.com/articles/114/1148845p1.html

Hmm. I wonder how that turns out. I liked Jack Wall and Sam Hulick' s work on Mass Effect a lot. Mansel IS a brilliant composer, though.

While I'm a little sad to see Jack Wall and Sam Hulick go, Mansel is no slouch in composing music, if some of his works are indicated. I'm also interested where the ME3 soundtrack is heading.

Oh. Well that's kind of lame, I guess. I just hope he keeps some pre-existing tracks from the first game (Like Vigil and the Love Theme)

Hmmm... this bodes ill. I do hope the keep Vigil's theme and the main theme. Personally, I miss the elctronic style from the original game. It reminded me of Blade Runner a lot, which is good. It suited the universe perfectly. I was diappointed by the orchestral style in Mass Effect 2.
I hope some more of that electronic stuff comes back in. Bring back Faunts, or whatever they were called.

Well... we'll see how it goes, but I do admit I missed the old school soundtrack. Hopefully some of the main themes comes back like the "Love Theme", "Vigil", etc... can't remember the rest.
