I hope some more of that electronic stuff comes back in. Bring back Faunts, or whatever they were called. Glad to see I'm not the only one who liked that.

Why isn't Faunts in ME2? I hope they put back faunts in ME3. If not, then please add "Don't fear the Reapers" By Blue Oyster Cult.

Well... we'll see how it goes, but I do admit I missed the old school soundtrack. Hopefully some of the main themes comes back like the "Love Theme", "Vigil", etc... can't remember the rest. Same here. "Vigil" will probably go down as my favorite song from the series so far.

Aye, that was a good one, Knight. Although I think the context of the song is what made it even better. I can hear Vigil's voice in my head when this song plays. Haha

I've already shot my load on most of these points over the past year. I really don't know what to say about thermal clips. I'd like them gone personally, but they did force you to be a bit more tactical on your ammo.
I want more guns, and i want to see their stats but I absolutely do not want them in they way they were in ME 1. I want to have them handle differently not just have a different set of numbers. I'm doing a replay of ME 1 right now, I still don't know why ammo was brought in. But I do otherwise like how each and every gun handles differently forcing a tradeoff in your choices.
I want to see real stats on health and shields again. I want more skills. I want choices in armour type. The tradeoff between protection from phys and tech damage in ME 1 was goo and I think made medium armour a good choice when you did not know what you were facing.
For a game promising big choices they did their darnedest to reduce their impact this time around. I hope to see a better balance this time around.

Replaying Mass Effect 1 sounds like a great idea. I've been having fond memories of the Citadel, which is odd.
BioWare just has to decide what they want their game to be. It's been stuck somewhere between KotOR and Gears of War for a while. It's been fun, but uneven. I agree with what you said; shooters should be all about the weaponry! All I want, personally, is way more options. I don't care if the game's spread across 3 discs (wouldn't love it) if they can just make you feel like you're really affecting the story.
Maybe you can blow up Earth in ME3, I dunno. xD

While I like the customisation with the armour, I agree with Jk that we need more choices for the armour, especially the customisation part.
Also I want side quests to be more involved this time around. In ME1, while planetside is dull at least I feel like I'm doing something, other than shooting... like talking and making choices for the fate of that poor schmuck. In ME2... all you do is shooting. That's really boring. I want more choices and interaction with the character in side quests that are based on an uncharted world.
After I've watched Angry Joe's review on ME2 a while ago, I feel inclined to agree with him. We need more interaction with the Galaxy map, you know like seeing other starships flying around, running into merchant ships and random encounters like some pirate ship, millitary deserter ships, etc, etc. You know adding a few of these things to make the galaxy more lively.
And I agree wholeheartly on that list that Knight posted. Garrus is my right wingman in ME1 and ME2, so he should be so in ME3 as well. More varied gameplay, convincing romance (try not to get me started with Garrus and Shepard proposing as 'friends with benefits' talk.), more options and concequnces, get the team back together and... well I want an elcor teamate now.

Please don't mention Angry Joe. He got on my shit list with his BS "review" of Alpha Protocol. I would like the idea of interacting on the map as a sort of random encounter thing.
I think the weapons should pretty much be lined up in the amoury by now with maybe a few "Terminus Specials" to be unearthed in ME 3.
My big change will be in the way money is made. I think it should be from completing "jobs". I think research and materials should be done the same way. Otherwise I agree with the story ideas from the list. I would like to see a smaller tighter team so that the story can really get drilled down on ion this game.

Understandable with that 'guy'. He was on the shit list for a couple of people, especially with the VGA 2011. Me? Personally I just watch it for entertainment, but like all reviewers, I take it with a gain of salt, since they all bias to some degree. Human nature of course, that is why my preferable preference when it comes to choosing game it is rented, borrowed or having a long discussion with my close friend about the game. And my friend is pretty accurate about his opinions too, since we almost shared the same taste.
I agree with the story changes on the list as well, mainly with Cerberus. Do I need to grovel like a dog in ME3 when it comes to Cerberus? I'm playing as Commander Shepard, a (wo)man who doesn't answer to anyone and doesn't give a shit about authority. I hope this time around, with the Shadow Broker (Liara) supporting behind his/her back Shepard could stand on it's own and use their power, charisma and status to pull most of the strings within the galaxy. You know, becoming a big giant wild card between the Council, Cerberus and the Alliance.
Or, if that's not the case, at least give me an option for either siding with the Alliance or Cerberus. I don't want to be pigeonholed with Cerberus again without my choice.

Angry Joe is okay. The 'That Guy With the Glasses' collection of angry-nostalgic-reviewers is interesting in that it ranges from the very best in that field (well, except for THE angry nostalgic reviewer) to some of the worst (Bennet the Sage.)
Joe is.... not my cup of tea at all... but he's enthusiastic, really puts the effort in. I admit his reviews are unreliable, based more on kneejerk emotional response than anything else. But that's his schtick. He's angry!

Joe is.... not my cup of tea at all... but he's enthusiastic, really puts the effort in. I admit his reviews are unreliable, based more on kneejerk emotional response than anything else. But that's his schtick. He's angry! Nothing wrong with having a schtick like that but here's the rub. He got really pissy over the stats based elements of Alpha Protocol saying that if the game played like a shooter then the shots should go where he aims without any invisible dice being rolled. Someone called him on that in the comments and he replied something to the effect that the shooting was broken. This is where he passed from opinion to BS. A game mechanic is only broken when it does not work as designed. Shooting worked fine in AP as long as you put points in the skill and lined your shots up. You know, as intended. Likewise I never ran into ESP guards that were instantly alerted to my presence. probably because I actually deigned to put points in my stealth skill. If I had rolled a thug like he did then maybe there would be a problem with it but then again I would expect consequences to that set of choices. He on the other hand seemed to be hoping for Call of Duty RPG edition and it was NEVER marketed that way. I just get the impression he should just review games that are in his taste and STHU about genres he does not care for. Besides he does not yell anywhere near as comedically as the Nostalgia Critic and Doug Walker actually cares enough about his medium to know what the hell he is talking about. To see games amusingly raked over the coals I prefer Zero Punctuation. Dry humour and look, he actually cares enough to know what he is talking about and can far more deftly actually rationalize his opinion in print. Very much unlike Joe who in my opinion is useless on all counts.
