I just hope they can tie this up without using some miracle McGuffin. There is too much unknown for it to be otherwise unless I have somehow missed something very important.

That trailer was very, very awesome, but I kinda laughed when he said "And if Shepard doesn't get here soon..." and Shepard's just sitting up there watching everything burn. That's so John Shepard. Awesome This trailer made me ridiculously happy. It really reminded me of those Transformers movies, though. But how wonderful to see the Mass Effect universe's take on Earth. London, no less! Captain Anderson is from London, incidentally (though you'd never guess from his accent) so I wonder if London will be a location in the game. If so I will find Casey Hudson and kiss him. Aside from the multiplayer, this is looking good so far. Reapers arrive and invade (hopefully early on) everybody says sorry to Shepard, Kaidan slaps himself in the face, and then we finally get united species / humans led by Shepard versus the giant robots. Very excited.

I might still kick Kaidan in the shins. Or slap him.

Well Clint, you get the gist of it, right?
I'm looking really forward to seeing Kaiden profusely apologize for being a dong.

Dammit, now I have to wait til I get home to look at those links (and the trailer)!!!
Totally ambivalent about MP within the game, personally, but the rest sounds GREAT!

Amazon has ME3's release date set to December 31st, 2011.
And Skyrim in November of next year...
What a buzzkill. =S

Somewhat unrelated, but I had a bizarre dream about this (I swear, I do not typically have dreams about video games. What are you looking at?): In it, I was trying to play ME3, but all it amounted to was sitting in a room sending a bunch of emails to everyone frantically begging them to come help save earth. However, the only group that heeded the call (the only ones who cared enough about earth to save it) was Canada. Then I lost. It was pretty awesome.

You can't trust the Canadians. Bioware are from Canada, and they INVENTED the Reapers, after all!

I'm looking forward to stuffing the Turian councilor's airquotes where the sun don't shine and telling Ash to pound sand after refusing to listen to me on Horizon or even show a modicum of trust in me. Roman Candle, yeah we Canucks are helpful that way. Too bad we generally are not that much help. @glow: Is that why you don't believe me when I speak of the harshness of the Western Canadian winter?

The thought of multiplayer wants me to vomit in a bag and post it to Bioware.

Wow, what kind of kung-fu treachery is this? At least ME3 will be getting released a week early in the US. That'll give me enough time to beat it and get my controller ready to do some excessive jumping around Skyrim. xD
