For those of us who wanted to see the movie in our lifetimes, this bit of news can't be good. Edit: Wrong link.

He had surgery after he was done filming the trilogy. He said he didn't like being so out of shape when they had to do all of that crazy filming. He looks sharp! Though I think his fat was the source of his creativity, if King Kong and The Lovely Bones are any indication. xD
I don't think The Hobbit's ever gonna get made. This whole union thing is just because the Aussie film industry wants to see that they get a major cut out of the profits this time, though, like Jackson said, it'll probably end up backfiring on them. If they don't back off, Jackson will take his business elsewhere, and fewer movies will get filmed down there.
I'm shaking my fist at you, Aussies, regardless of the non-existent connection you might have with this incident. >=O

Ugh. *holds hands up* Nothing to do with me! Mind you, the Kiwis always try to blame us for everything. They've never forgiven us for that little incident. (seriously, it's true and I'm not all that proud of it either)

If I was aware of how cricket is actually played, I'd probably be shaking my fist harder right now! But seeing how no American does, I'll be the first to forgive you guys. Consider us square. xD

The origin of the universe, the question of life after death the workings of magic if it were actually real and the rules of cricket all top my list of the most incomprehensible mysteries of the universe. Sorry mate, I get that the Aussies were cheap in the match but that is about it.

Oh shut up. Just because you're british doesn't mean you're allowed to overrule insane Dr. Who fans.

Any Doctor Who fan who likes David Tennant IS insane.

Can't argue with that.
I'm still trying to picture Tennant in the freaking "Hobbit". As what, exactly? (Or whom, technically.) That's a mind-boggling casting idea. I'm going through the list of characters and I have yet to come up with a match for him.

I can picture him hoarding gold, though.

I tried. Unless he does one hell of a voice change, he's no Smaug either.

Oh come on now... Of the three modern incarnations, he did pretty well for a long while. I still prefer Eccleston though. What bothers me about all three is the writer's complete lack of hesitation about killing off side characters, and then making the Doctor stall and stall, and end up never fully resolving anything. He waits for someone else to turn up and make that final decision for him, and then berates them when they do!
