Maybe Elysium leading up to Torfan but not focusing on Shepard. That would be a pretty good arc.

First Contact War sounds more plausible really...simply because of a lack of Krogan and knowing my luck the universe hates me and will pick a story with no krogan in it.

I'm not a big fan of the writer. Poseidon wasn't very good (even though I definitely wanted it to be); I Am Legend was good until the ending, which completely spat in the face of the entire premise of the book; and I haven't seen Thor yet. Not a very impressive resume for someone who's supposed to write a movie with a lot of character development involved. Then again, I've been suffering from a bad case of cynicism lately. xD

I Am Legend is a horrible example of character writing actually as the lead really didn't have too much of a character arc at all.Thor was a nice fluffy light superhero movie, but it depended too much on the whole fish out of water theme to carry it. It had good moments but mostly from pretty decent acting on the part of the guy who played Loki.
Poseidan was just an unfortunate remake. That is all.
I need actors a director and something resembling a story to go by before I completely write this off, it just doesn't look good.

That's not much of a resume, no. My opinion: Poseidon was..... fine but pointless. I Am Legend was fine until the end. Thor was..... yeah, fine.
And the guy playing Loki was atrocious, Linders. Atrocious.

Well maybe I am somewhat tarnished by my complete non familiarity with the Thor comic books and my familiarity with the Norse Myth it was so crudely based on. He looked the part and acted the part of the Trickster God turned horribly evil to a T. I have not seen him in other work so I can only judge based on what I saw from Thor and he did a good job.

Well as long as they don't try to make it 3D.
It'd be nice if they kept the CG to a minimum too. I'd rather see a scale model of the Normandy being flown over a green screen then some super high definition computer graphics.
If I wanted to see Mass Effect in CG I'd play the games again. Hopefully they realize that for once.

Don't hold your breath Renegade. Still I think it would be awesome if the movie studios at least tried to reign the CG in. I thought about the movie Serenity just now and how awesome that looked on a relatively small budget. Whedon only used a small amount of CG and filled in the rest with great camera work and lighting. Good sized physical sets to let the actors actually move around in took care of the rest.

Regarding Loki again, JK - You are wrong, and a BUFFOON. Just 'cause you say it doesn't make it true. Help me out here. Tell me why I'm wrong.

Just... you're factually incorrect!
He was a horrible overactor, he looked far too much like he was from the real world, he was young, skinny... I really didn't like his acting. I know everyone in that movie was overplaying it, and that made the whole thing a lot of fun, but this guy was just ridiculous. I honestly thought he was by far the weak link of the film.

Loki is young and skinny. He was a younger brother of Thor, not nearly as norse like manly as Thor so he expressed himself through trickery that got on Thor's nerves and slowly got more and more sinister as time went on. Eventually he went from being a playful trickster to being the reason Baldre died. A lot of this was likely simply because he did not measure up in the family the way they wanted him to. A classic tale of sibling rivalry turned very deadly in the hands of Gods.
I saw hints of that in his performance. But maybe you need to know the source material of the source material to pick up on it.

I'm on Team Linders on this one dude. I think the guy who did Loki did an awesome job, one of the good points of the movie.
