--Or " i don't have time for... (insert comment here)" " I don't like it when (insert displeasing action here)" Or especially "This is what a gun in your face feels like, I deal with it every day" Poor Verner.

Where is that one from anyway? I don't go renegade in my games. Was that the Turian guy on Noveria?

I have to agree, badass renegade Shepard would be so much more interesting and entertaining to watch than another hero type (which is fun to play of course, but would be cliched and boring to watch for me at least). As for the Wing Commander movie.... *sighs* It had so much potential, but was awful. It's been quite a few years since I saw it, and I've no inclination to refresh my memory by seeing it again.

Also I agree, as much as I adore my Paragon FemShep, it won't be much as fun as watching a renegade Shepard shoving a boot up some some mooks ass on the big screen and we're kinda seen enough nice idealist heroes. A nice Anti-Hero running around the big screen is nice change and I'm saying this for the third time. I'll pay good money to see Renegade Shepard. Even it turns out to be not as good, it's kinda worth it. Still, I'll applaud BioWare if it turns out to be slightly entertaining and watchable as that recent Prince of Persia movie.

*Resurrection* (You know, I bet you there'll a Mass Effect novel/comic named "Resurrection" one of these damn days.) No news about the movie yet, but I was thinking, you know who would make the perfect Harkin (the "drunk" guy who hits on Shepard)? Bruce Willis. I mean, he'd have one scene (if that), but come on! Christopher Walken should get in on it too, probably as that turian mechanic on Noveria. "this Matriarch who went past... was un-FUCKing-believable!" What about you guys? Any actors you'd like to see in the movie?

Oh man, spot-on picks with those two... espescially the Walken thing. Call the Herald!
I've always thought Jodie Foster would make a fine Commander Shepard. Might be a bit old now. Obviously I'd like to see Keith David in there as Anderson, Brandon Keener as Garrus. As many original cast members as they can get.

I would be really amazed to see the movie be made about the game itself but I think it would be a disappointment. I would be disappointed if the rumors are true and it's going to take place during the Relay 314 Incident AKA The First Contact War, but I think it would turn out to be really amazing.
Either way I'm indifferent about the movie. But regardless I WILL SEE IT OPENING NIGHT.

I would like to see the voice actors for CGI aliens like Wrex and all that being reprised. After all, who understands the character better then them?

Yeah, I'll be there on opening night too - even though I'm not expecting to enjoy it, it'll be an event.

Let's see, we have a writer and...and... that's it? No director, no actors and the guy who did the screenplay for Thor and a remake of of a movie that was an adaptation from a novel. I'm really not optimistic that this has gotten any traction at all.
I do agree that there is more potential here than for other video games due to the rich lore but I still think they should stay clear of Shepard's story. Leave that to the players, do something with the First Contact War or some other ancillary part of the background and leave Shepard out of it.
