That comment made my day.

I know most of Uwe's movies are ungodly terrible. I actually watched all of Bloodrayne waiting for a good part (Udo Kier [C&C RA2 Yuri] was in it, best part of the movie) but his adaptation of Postal was actually pretty good. It was funny, and fairly accurate. And he told the best nazi joke I ever heard.
Uwe is on of those german knee short green suspender deals sits on a stage in Little Germany talking about the new Krotchy doll (it was in the game)
Reporter asks: "So, how do you get funding for your movies?" Uwe: "Well, there are a lot of rumors that I used stolen nazi gold to fund my movies. And well, its true. But some one has to use the money no?" Angry old lady: "How dare you! My grandfather died at Aushwitz!" Uwe: "My grandfather died at Aushwitz too, he fell from a watchtower."
I'm sorry, but any German who has the balls to tell that joke earns a few points in my book. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Unless its digital. Guess what I' trying to say is it was flashing 12:00am when he made Postal.
And to save some shred of dignity, I bought it for the game(Postal 2 was included), not the movie.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day? I smell a Turian Councillor quote! "Ah yes "Reapers"". Actually in all seriousness, there seems to be a certain obsession among turians about human sayings expressions and even idioms like airquotes. You don't see turians in the game going "you asari have a saying...(insert pithy phrase here)" Every major turian character exempting Saren does it. Any thoughts?

They must like it Btw, Matthew Fox is confirmed as canon Shep I thought you were joking! That would that be so perfect; he looks the part + he's a great actor + he's already played a guy named "Shepherd." xD But it says "Mass Effect" under upcoming projects on IMDB: www.imdb.com/name/nm0289142/I support this. =D

Yeah, he does. I'd still prefer it if it didn't involve Shepard in any direct fashion, but still, I'm excited!

I'm dreading it... but I guess the movie will be out after the game, so it can't ruin the series... just add a strange footnote.

Sound like they're pushing to get ME3 and this movie to come out at the same time. I don't like the direction BioWare finds itself going... Though, worst case scenario, it'll just be a bad movie based off a good game. Still can't believe they're going with Shepard as the main character. Thats just... weak. EDIT: Sorry, what I ment to say was: "That's just mess'd!" but I guess "Every one has to deal."

Casey Hudson is aiming for a Scrooge McDuck gold-coin-swimming-pool by 2012.

Thought so.
I'm so going to avoid this movie. I just don't like the idea of pigeon hole Shepard as male for the canon. It's like KotOR all over again with Raven.
