Isn't Blood Dragon just the Shit? When I suspect it's causing me to dream of being in a pre-Judgement Day Human Resistance against Skynet led by the Connors with a Farscape-era Claudia Black doing a fair impression of Aeryn Sun at my side? Fuck-to-the-hell-yes.

Hearing this makes me sad. It's so beautiful. It really sums up for me, the special feeling and atmosphere that the first Mass Effect had, and makes me think about the direction the trilogy could have taken if things were different.
I think I'll go play Mass Effect 1 again.

My last playthrough of ME1 was something I couldn't even finish because it fucking tore me up to play it for that very reason, so I stopped around Noveria.
EDIT: Yeah, Mr. Hardy. I can't keep smiling at that one either.

I found this video while watching a Taylor Davis marathon on YouTube - this girl is fantastic... and she and Lara de Wit work together a lot, it seems, and they are incredible together...
This is "An End Once And For All" from Mass Effect 3, on Piano and Violin...
And here's the theme to Assassin's Creed 3 by the same two girls...

The music in these games is so perfect. Especially the first game, where you've got creepy voodoo-type music, creepy Catholic-type music, and non-creepy New Orleans ambiance music.

Best Sci-Fi video game soundtrack ever? Yeah, yeah, it is.

The Total War series had some great music. (Barring TW: Rome 2. I hear mixed feelings about that OST.)

From Sony Computer Entertainment, I bring the soundtrack of the best JRPG in history which put even the much-worshiped Final Fantasy in its place: The Legend of Dragoon.
Be warned: the link is to a 50 video playlist so it'll take a long while to get through, but the first song alone is pure epic. I wonder if Malukah could be asked to do a cover of it.

So Lindsey Stirling made a video for Dragon Age!
She's amazing...
I have not actually played any of the Dragon Age games, but I find the lore and story lines fascinating - thus the reason I rather enjoy just sitting on the couch listening to Linders describe various Dragon Age related things to me.
Now, with this song and video, I may want to look into the games a bit more...

Totally my favourite song on the Jak II soundtrack. It always made the chase scenes that much more tense.

There's a song in MGSV's soundtrack, A Phantom Pain, it's like a mix between a track from Metal Gear Rising and a Lady Gaga song. It's really good.
