One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard... it really clears up at 1:20. The echo effect is to simulate the song being played over loudspeakers in the aftermath of the end of a war.

And in the realm of crappy games, but good music...

Ah Shit this song. I remember it so well Raziel being cast into the abyss and appearing at the bottom mangled. You come back from the dead has you travel you here this tune again. I swear you just could feel that epic thirst for revenge when this tune was playing.
This next song was originally used in the Gundam Unicorn OVA's, but was also used as the series theme for it in Gundam Extreme VS. I swear the vibe I got when this song played for the very first time. Well needless to say the next episode's could not come out soon enough.
Their are many great songs in Metal Gear Rising its hard to pic just one. I think back to when I played the demo and recal the boss fight at the end of it. This song hit and that very instant I truly knew the awsome ride that was waiting for me.

Mark Morgan will be writing music for Torment: Tides of Numenera, and it sounds like good stuff, too.

Nah I like this one better My favriote out of Vergil's themes Also I feel this theme defiantly deserves to be here.

Ah, Battletanx: Global Assault. The ultimate tribute to 80's/90's action movies about huge, explosive machinery. The Playstation 1 version had better audio, but the N64 version provided to be the better game. Very reminiscent of post-rock/neo-classic rock and 90's heavy metal. Still, here's the PSX stuff in all its rockin' glory.

And what I consider some of the best music to ever be in a game. Top Gun... EAT YOUR MOTHERFUCKING HEART OUT (Note: my favorite song on the sound track ^^^ )

There's no game with a better soundtrack than Bully. I used to go around just hitting Nerds with fire extinguishers so I could hear their theme.
