Pretty much always hated point and click adventures. The ludicrous stretches of lateral thinking needed to progress was usually too much for me. As was the near total lack of action.
Monkey Island was supposed to be really good though.

I'm pretty impressed with the soundtrack to Alan Wake provided by Poets of the Fall. Especially the Old Gods of Asgard music.
Well Admittedly, I liked this more because of where and how this one first showed up.
I just like the sound of this one a lot on it's own.

Agreed! They did two more songs for American Nightmare that were pretty great, as well.
And if you haven't seen it, the official video for "War" was a tie-in to Alan Wake, starring Ilkka Villi. =D

Nearly done the first game
I don't wanna listen to the American nightmare ones as I really do not want spoilers on this one.

This is totally my favourite track from the game, maybe minus the Old Gods songs. It just fits the game's mystical atmosphere (and the eponymous diver) so well.
I didn't really care for the song from American Nightmare, though. It didn't have that same magic that the Poet and the Muse had, probably from being in the absolute best part of the game.
I'm loving that more and more people on this forum are finally getting around to playing this game. I'll have someone to discuss "Season 2" with when/if it comes around!

I have like 6 copies of that song. Not this one, though. (After listening to the whole thing) These lyrics are different. A lot different.

I wish Johnny Cash lived long enough to do a cover of "Drunken Whaler". That'd be dope.

The bit near the end of Max Payne 3, when Max is going up against an airport full of special forces with only some painkillers and some Bullet TimeTM, while this is playing was seriously pretty great.
It's probably up there with any of the bits with music from RDR, like when Marston first arrives in Mexico.

My love affair with Smash Bros. Brawl has reminded me of a lot of really great music pieces - every song in Ocarina of Time, the amazing Star Wolf theme from Starfox 64, the Brinstar theme from Metroid --- and loads more. And it also randomly played these bizarre-ass songs over some levels. I have no clue what either of these are about or what they have to do with Wario or Pikmin respectively, but I love them. A-aa-sh-leeee!!

Wario is my favourite Mario character. I dunno, I just love how he hoards all his money and doesnt give a damn about saving princesses.

the ME1 ending credits song was a good song.....
I like pretty much all of the halo and ME music.

The only reason I'd want to hang around in the Hengsha sewers is this song, one of the best in the game IMO:

I had no idea Nine Inch Nails composed the main theme of this until a few years ago, as well as the rest of the game's soundtrack.
1:30 and on it turns into some of the creepiest ambiance you'll ever hear.
