An example of "Amazing music in a pretty forgettable game" - the intro to Heimdall for Amiga. I wish someone would record this with instruments.

I've heard of it an awful lot, but was not aware of it at the time. I have to say - poop jokes? Doesn't sound so funny to me.

This is like the Guile's Theme of murder mystery music. You could play it over anything and it would still feel all mysterious and adventurous.

Silent Hill 2's theme song is better in my opinion.

She's done it again... my god, her voice is unbelievable... how can so much talent be in one girl? She's just incredible... her voice in this song makes my eyes just flood right up. There really aren't any words to describe how I feel about her music...
"Tale of the Tongues" by Malukah

That's another winner by Malukah, for sure. Bethesda really ought to hire her, if not for Skyrim DLC then for the next game. I think she's popular enough now.
I actually had never heard that song before, since I always stop playing the moment the main quest is done. Better to end on a bang, etc. So that was a real education for me!

I'm not sure if the brilliant Monkey Island theme has ever been featured on this thread, but here is a good version:

I have never heard of Monkey Island... but, in the town where I grew up, there was a small wooded area that was kind of sunken down below the normal ground level (kind of like a mini-jungle, that you'd have to climb down to get into) and the local kids all called it "Monkey Land" ;D I do like that song by the way...
As for the idea of Bethesda hiring Malukah in future, well, that would be awesome.

Never heard of...?!? Goodness me, Lily.
The Monkey Island games were very successful 'point and click' games from Lucas Arts in the 90's. They were very funny, as well as well-crafted.

Heard of it, never played it. I never really played point and click save for flash games, Telltale's Jurassic Park and the Walking Dead.
