The one thing that me felt really sad about is M. Night Shamylan. Now I know he did made some questionable movies in the past couple of years, I was hoping someay he'll get better and reclaim his glory days with the "Sixth Sense" movie, but as far as this movie goes... it's going to hit his director career hard. Possibility on the likes of the fallen golden boy of the gaming industry, John Romero.
I've recalled an article where the director tried to defend his position about racism typecasting. I'd say at best, he's an idiot who seem to blatantly lied about being a fan to the Airbender animation series.
Also in the same article, he said that he's also a fan of the twilight series and wants to direct...
*drumroll*
Fricken Breaking Dawn! Normally I don't care much about the books or the movie based on the twilight series, despite my constant bitching in these forums, but this is probably the only time I would want to watch Breaking Dawn on day one if Shamylan is directing. I'm sure there's no way that he'll make it more horrible than Airbender, since the Twilight films is basically a foolproof to shithouse elements in the likes of Airbender and Daikatana. I'll be even mildly surprised if he did a slight better job than the previous twilight films.

....He....he what? Link to this article please? I had faith in Shyamalan once. I did. Then I watched clips--not even the whole thing!-- of Airbender.
You can't do brilliant work with Twilight unless you're....really, really good. Why does he even want to do this? Don't tell me he's a fan. It's got none of the elements his first three films seemed to be interested in. Is it just for the money?
I'm going back to watching "Unbreakable" and pretending Airbender doesn't exist.

www.worstpreviews.com/headline.php?id=17225This is one of the news I could find, I'll keep looking for the actual source, but it's merely wishful thinking. I can't say the Twilight series are the worse bunch, I can think of other films that really sucks like Uwe Boll's stuff, but it's medicore and highly overrated imo. Probably one of the worse examples of postmodernism approach to discussion and debates topics, since the antis and the hardcore fangirls were at each other's throat savagely. Hell, even comparing it to the heated discussion about the LI's in the Mass Effect series were much more tamer than this. Personally I wish the series would curl into a ball and die, I'm getting sick of hearing people arguing over the top of their lungs about it. It's not worth discussing about it. If you like Twilight, fine. Just keep your thoughts to yourself.
