We all know the pig did it. (That pig is actually a screen cleaner my brother bought me) And no that is not a dildo in the corner. Everybody has to make dildo jokes about my glitter desk lamp.
If I was in control of Twilight movies they wouldn't be Twilight movies. Could you imagine Bella with a personality?

Oh crap we talking about Twilight again? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!11
I have not seen New Moon or read the book. I saw Spoony's review a few days ago and that was good enough for me.

I love the scene, Zars. I also suspected that pig immediately.

Ha ha. I liked my little camera man. He had a giant button I found in the draw as a camera and I also took great pleasure in my blue afro headed pink shotgun wielding deputy. The fun you can have with a desk. You probably notice I lied about the blu tack... I really didn't want to say I was actually playing with glitter play dough because then you'd ask why I had glitter play dough and I'd ten have to explain by showing you the Henry video... Henry video was part of an installation I did last year where people in interviews described a monster and I actually built it on screen as stop animation and the shops ran out of normal play dough so I had to buy the glitter kind. Explanation over.

As long the movie sells like hotcakes, they will plan two more shite movies of ther sub-series you know. As long they continued, unfortunately I don't think they will shut up about it Hey zars, my first thought about that gitter lamp was not a dildo but something along the lines of girly. My friend used to have that lamp back at high school before she gave it away and make her room a little more gothic. There! I've said it.

Well my sister bought me that lamps years ago. Shes always buying me girly things. There's also a snow globe pink picture frame somewhere but I dislike pink so I've probably left it in a box. Love snow globes though. My wooden giraffe's are draped around the desk though other than that my desk is all business with mixing desk, keyboards, various music related hardware and software a house phone and pain killers. I wouldn't consider this a girlie desk. lol I just had to make sure you knew that I don't know why I'm feeling so threatened by the implication of having a girlie desk... the glitter lamp does keep me entertained though in an ADHD kind of way.

I saw 2012 and Christmas Carol.
2012 was actually very good, although the ending surprised me..
And for your own good, DO NOT go to see xmas carol! It's one of the worst films ever, I actually fell asleep halfway through it.

Aw, I was hoping A Christmas Carol would be good. I love Jim Carrey. =(
2012 was great. That and Star Trek were probably the best movies I saw in theaters this year.

Christmas Carol got middling reviews. I won't bother with it. I like the Alistair Sim version! And the Muppets version, and the Captain Picard and Richard E Grant version. I think the best film I saw this year in cinemas was either 'Gran Torino' or 'District 9'. The worst was probably 'G.I. Joe' - but it wasn't actually so bad - and it has a kind of campy humour value to it, particularly with Cobra Commander's very funny voice.

LOL! That screencap was very funny. I like how they distinguished between "bad" and "terrible" writer.
Gran Torino, Slumdog Millionaire, and Religulous are probably the best movies I've seen this year. I know I'm missing something, but meh.
The worst would probably be Push. GI Joe was practically Ben Hur in comparison.

I haven't seen anything I thought was Bad since Beowolf in the cinema. Then again I've only started to regularly see everything in the cinema. Reminds me... must take daniel to Acton complex when in London to watch movie and show him the arcade. I love that freakin arcade! We're way to broke to go see a musical this year anyway and I don't want to go into central london a third time on our trip. People there are very rude. Whats coming out over the holidays anyway? I know I'm definitely going to see where the wild things live this wednesday.

Avatar is new. It looks terrible, I think. Those blue characters just look so damn ridiculous and fake.

I think the hype from Cameron fans is blowing in the wind.
Most people I knew were excited because it has the typical space marine bullocks, and one even said he was excited because James "I Plagiarize Everything I Compose" Horner is doing the score.
Regardless, I'll still see it. I am a sucker for 80's nostalgia and I'm hoping it will at least be worth eating popcorn over.

I don't think Avatar will be all that bad. It's James Cameron we're talking about now, y'all. Terminator, Terminator 2, Aliens, The Abyss, True Lies, Titanic. C'mon, y'all, c'mon! I'll probably be seeing it when it comes out. =D I didn't think Beowulf was all that bad, considering the source material. It could have been much worse. I could be a bit biased since I loved the poem and the two actors who played Beowulf and Wiglaf. Also the Beowulf movie was based on Neil Gaiman's adaptation of the poem... I could be wrong. I love Gaiman but still... it would be a safe bet just to pirated the movie. I'm not too interested in low fantasy settings at the moment.
