Oh, that wasn't directed at you personally. I've seen that sort of education made a joke before "Ha ha you were homeschooled, you can't relate" and I wanted to nip any such responses (from anyone) in the bud. I realized on the road tonight that it might get misconstrued, sorry.

I don't know a lot about this one, but I am with Clint on this. It's hard to voice the opinion without seeming not to care about people's feelings, but demolishing and rebuilding the building seems very wasteful. Especially in the recession.
Renovations, as Linders said, seem like a good middle way.

Far more efficient way to spend money and is also less time-consuming as a general rule.

Honestly, that sort of money could be spent in something else, such as maybe some sort of free health care scheme or something, rather than pulling down buildings. Who knows, maybe that better usage of money could have lessen the chances of another similar event happen in the future.
Like Health Care, again.
