I'm ready! I've been really liking this series (in fact, it's the only one I sit down to watch in the last 3+ years).

Anywho i watched the first episode, thank you live streaming, and i think out of all the show starters so far I think this is the best one. Fair enough we havent seen the Stark Children yet but hey, we got Giants. GIANTS!

Good episode last night. I liked that they made Lady Olenna & Margery's goals a little more ambiguous. In the book their position on Joffrey is a little clearer, but wouldn't have made for as good TV.

I'm actually a big fan of the Brotherhood of no Banners in the series. Thoros and Anguy seem like very funny guys. Also I like how they add Theon in here, and really elaborate on Tyrion and Shae's relationship. also Robb's wife, i think she is far more interesting then Jeyne from the novels.

Doesn't Thoros get really serious in the books? AKA, I'm so religious, I'm raising people from the dead, and I put aside my carousing ways?
That whole conversation between Rob's Wife and Catelyn was new.

I love how everyone loves her but keep forgetting her name haha. Still think Cat is a bitch though, but I like how humanising it is. Thoros is pretty serious and religious in the books after he manages to revive Dondarion yeah. But I think for the series they decided to keep him a bit more funny since Dondarion should be "alive" again at this point.

I love how everyone loves her but keep forgetting her name haha. If you're referring to "Robb's Wife" (Talisa the lovely field medic), I find it fascinating that she's played by the lovely Oona Chaplin - grand-daughter to the great Charlie Chaplin Himself! Awesome... just awesome... and yes, Talisa is far more interesting than the meek and mild little Jeyne Westerling...

GRRM never tells us if she's pregnant or not.

I'm in the speculation camp that she is, as well as the one that Ned Stark aint Jon Snow's real dad either and he and Danny are somewhat closely related.
And OMG I did not know Talisa/Oona was related to Charlie Chaplin! Biggest trivia thing, EVER.

Oh my. I never thought of that. But if Jon Snow is the boy, who's Aegon?
