Hm. I really need to get my hands on Dance With Dragons. I feel very deprived.

Oops. Yeah you should. Good thing I didn't blow the big surprise.

Just saw this week's episode. Nice Combination of the story of Arya. First have Yoren begin the habit of her "prayers". Then deal with the Lommy death immediately rather than after they've been on the run for a few days. Also, the visuals gave more time to Theon's choice, whereas the book set it in play almost instantly. Which was very appropriate in my opinion, it always bothered me how easily he switched. Though events in book 5 change things (WHICH I COULD TALK ABOUT IF CERTAIN PEOPLE WERE UP TO DATE!) lol

Don't worry about spoilers in my case, Clint, I don't mind spoilers - I've never minded spoilers because even if I know what's going to happen, I still like reading it... like when my best friend and I were reading the last Harry Potter book, we were out walking one day and ran into a woman I worked with who was as much an HP fan as I am (if not more) and we got to chatting about the book - well, my friend and I had not yet finished the book, though I was further along in it than he was, and my coworker revealed a rather upsetting spoiler about the devastating death of my friend's favorite character, which was a scene he had not gotten to yet. He still hates her for it, and it's been a few years. I, on the other hand, like spoilers because then I can still talk about it with people without having to cover my ears and go "la la la la". So, in my case, Spoil Away! Edit: p.s.: Is the big surprise you're referring to anything to do with Jon Snow? If it is, I might already know... or suspect... or something...

Now now. That would be telling. Tease. Now, I would surmise from your answer that the answer to my query might actually be "Yes". Or at least in part. So, next query on what the "Big Surprise" might be - does it involve Theon Greyjoy getting some sort of comeuppance for what he did in Clash of Kings?

Not sure if I can feel sorry for Theon... I had a bit of dislike for him even before he betrayed Robb and Winterfell... but, depending on what happens to him, we shall see.

Oh, probably - I am rather sensitive to violence in fiction - it doesn't make me want to stop reading / watching, but it does tend to evoke my sympathies...

For A dance with Dragons, you might get a bit frustrated with Deanarys. She's....well, she's not doing a good job trying to conquer her Iron Throne back. But someone else does....hence the title of the book. ONLY HINT I WILL GIVE!

Oh, please, Officer Gorvar... what must I do to get another hint? *bats my eyes hopefully*
Then again, if you're referring to Aegon, I might already know - I do trawl the internet quite a lot and might have already been spoiled all to Hell over A Dance With Dragons... I am rather impatient when it comes to knowing what happens to my favorite characters... I do know that something unpleasant happens to Theon that makes him be known as Reek... and I know something else unpleasant happens to Jon Snow (*weeps* I like Jon Snow, I hope he's ok). I know Tyrion gets away from King's Landing and I think he heads towards Daenerys and her dragons.
