My favorite conversation so far, over a card game:
Kaidan: You totally took down a Reaper.
Shepard: Yup. I did.
James: Yes, you did.
Shepard: Hell yeah. Only a few more to go.
EDIT - Also, Diana Allers tried to flirt with me yesterday and I totally turned her away. Hope she got that on camera. xD

Yikes, Herr. Sorry to hear about this. Must be frustrating as hell. The worst part has to be that there's no reason for me to have any form of framerate drop on the PC version. The demo ran like a dream on this laptop, so I don't see why the full game suddenly has framerate issues. And y'know, it wouldn't be so bad if not for the fact that the framerate issues also mess up the audio: I swear to god, whenever the lag got really bad the audio began to sound like something straight out of musique concréte rather than something you would hear in a voice-over. Nevertheless, I managed to get my PC CE traded in for the PS3 CE at no extra cost to myself, which was great. Now, I've just gotta beat ME2 quickly, which will be quite a feat if ever there was a feat to be had.

Well, I've played a few hours of ME3 now. I'm not far in, I've barely got any War Assets that aren't reporters, in fact.
Starting off at level 30, with all the N7 swag from the Collector's Edition makes me feel really overpowered. Is anyone else finding that?
One minor thing I'm liking is how Udina and Al-Jilani seem to be redeeming themselves for their douchery in the first two games. I was sure BioWare would just bring out the indoctrination for them, so Shepard could finish them off.

I punched the reporter in the face again. I'd had it with her tabloid journalism! xD

Oh, yeah, tabloid journalism totally doesn't fit with "snide insinuations" or "disingenuous assertions", either. What's up with that?
Those ten War Asset points I got from her are totally going to win me the war, too. (It's telling Al-Jilani is worth twice as much as Diana Allers, too.)

Finished the game. Gonna go over in the corner until I have an outlet for all this... whatever I'm feeling...

Finished the game. Gonna go over in the corner until I have an outlet for all this... whatever I'm feeling... I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say about these endings when all is said and done. I think we might have another Dragon Age II on our hands, if the first 90% of Dragon Age II was a decent game. (It wasn't.) Unrelated, but guess who got his beloved Salarian Engineer in the starter pack for the co-op this time? (Spoiler: It's me)

Nah, I personally don't think it's as bad as DA2. It's literally a last minute thing.
30 hour game, and I loved every second of it. The ending, the last 0.01% is iffy. I think it made sense within the context of everything that came before it, but it was bittersweet and leaves everything in a weird state. It's an absolute ending, in more ways than one.

I don't believe I have ever wanted to know something as much as I want to know how this videogame ends.

I don't believe I have ever wanted to know something as much as I want to know how this videogame ends. I don't want to drum it up too much. Honestly, I'm not sure how everyone's gonna react when they play through it. It's pretty fraking crazy. All I can say is: at least it's not a cliffhanger.

Just finished as well. Apparently theres quite a few endings, so I'm gearing up for a replay soon.
But I think I should go outside or something first.

Silence all of you! I've been playing almost every waking moment since tuesday and I'm not done yet. Of course, I'm the worst sort of completionist.

Took me a little over 30 hours to complete, and that's with roughly fifteen to twenty of those little fetch sidequests left unfinished. It's probably the most dense game that BioWare have made this side of Dragon Age: Origins; there's just so much stuff to do. I can't even...
Anyway, that ending. I feel like as I dwell on it more, I'll like it a lot less. Right now, I'm pretty satisfied regardless, since the game does provide a proper sendoff (which is really all I wanted) before it dives into crazytown for the final scene - which, upon further reflection, makes absolutely no sense.
I'll tell you something, though. BioWare has me back on the boat, if only because I have no rutting clue how the series will continue after this.

Of the thirty hours my play through took, 29 hours and 45 mins were incredible. That last 15 mins felt contrived in a way no other bioware ending ever has. I enjoyed the DA2 ending more than this. Its like for 99% of the game they gave us saving private ryan in space, then for the last 1% gave they gave us a 2001: a space odyssey knock off. I guess im just disappointed, might need time to let this ruminate.
