Wake me up when Yahtzee reviews ME3. I'm REALLY looking forward to his review, for the first time in ages.

Here's something wierd: Metacritic. The critical scores are all 8-10. which is encouraging. And the user reviews are all either 10/10 or 0/10. Almost nothing inbetween. www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/mass-effect-3/user-reviewsDo you suppose that's just one guy / some group constantly rating it a zero? Annoyingly too, almost all the justifications for the zero scores are 'there is a gay character' and 'day one DLC'. Seriously though it's always nice to anonymously poll people about their opinions on homosexuality. Really brings you down to Earth.

It's getting review bombed by EA haters and people who are pissy over the leaked endings from what i was able to see. Metacritic cannot be trusted for user reviews anymore. The 10/10s are as bad because there would be the fanboys trying to jack it back up. This is the one place on the internet where the critic reviews are more reliable than the professional ones.
Casey Hudson had said that the best ending is possible to get without co-op. You just have to grind for war assets and side quests.
And I always look forward to games that I have played to be reviewed by Yahtzee. I rarely agree with him but he is always good for a laugh. You really have to remember he is in it for the lols and has decidedly old school ideas of what makes a good game.

I'm pretty sure he'll say largely the same thing as every other reviewer on the internet has, but slot in some "witty" remarks. I'm just in it for the laughs and I was curious to see what had to say about the endings. He's going to have a field of a day from the looks of it. And Also I agree the metacritic user review is going a tad too far... I just wish there's someone on the fucking internet being more objective about ME3. And sooo... BioWare said there's some golden endings according to this interview. www.360magazine.co.uk/interview/mass-effect-3-has-many-different-endings/Well, could they kindly show us how it's done. Like that Legionnaire once said when you failed to teach him how to disarm those landmines in New Vegas: Why don't you go show us, then?

I've put about 4 hours into it so far. I really like it, but I still kind of feel like I'm getting my bearings. The scope definitely feels much larger than ME2, thats for sure.

So I managed to get my copy of the game...
...and now, on my PC, I'm encoutering major, incredibly debilitating frame rate issues with it. Seriously, it's not even funny how bad these frame rate issues are: these issues have caused my game to crash to the point of forcing my laptop to shut down three times in exactly the same spot. The one time I did manage to get past the spot, I still encoutered them.
And I don't get why they're happening, either. The demo ran just fine, ME2 ran just fine, and there are points where the game runs beautifully. I just don't get it.

I've been hearing cases like this, you're not the only one Wozzeck.
I guess BioWare forgot to optimised the game properly before it went gold.

Waiting for tomorow, so I can pick the game up. I've been debating if I should open up and play it or sell it on Ebay or something, since this is a PC version and once I've install this, the game worth shit all.
If I'm going to play it, I'll won't play the whole way. Instead I'll stop once I'm close to the ending and use my imagination on how the game ends instead.

I've had no issues at all with the PC version. Granted, I am playing on a PC that I built for gaming. The only gripe I have is that EA made me install more of their crummy software on my computer (origin) on order to even play it.
I was worried about frame rate issues when I played the demo on the PS3. It was terrible, especially in cut scenes. But I haven't encountered any with the full version of the game.

ME3 Review from PC power play. www.pcpowerplay.com.au/2012/03/review-mass-effect-3/8/10 Quote from it: Ultimately, Mass Effect 3 is best described by the dissonance experienced in its touching post-credits coda; a sequence that beautifully conveys the sense of scale and wonder inherent to the series and much of science fiction. Where Mass Effect’s scale was once defined by the exploration of a vast galaxy in a small ship, here it’s defined by the height difference between Shepard and a single Reaper as it spews hot laser death at her. Where its wonder was once defined by the traversal of uncharted worlds, here it’s defined by big explosions and space battle cutscenes. This is a spectacular galactic war, and Shepard will lose a lot to end it, but the series has also lost something in order to depict it.Least it's blunt.

Till, even I think you're starting to take this out of proportion now. I'd recommend just playing the game, and if you play the first nine tenths of it, you might as well finish it. I'm sure you'll find something worth liking in it.

I guess so. Well I heard the Garrus romance in ME3 is good, so it's something worth to look at. I'll try, but I really need to recuperate after this.
Funny enough, despite all the rage going in the past, like the voting of FemShep's new face, Vega, etc; I did not rage much. Half the time I've let it slide. However after the whole 2nd leak thing... well I've lost my marbles over it.
Anyway, ME3 is going to be my last game that I buy it from day one from BioWare. After that, I'll be buy their future games in the End of the Year Tax sales instead.
