Is it just me, or are BioWare obsessed with telling us to hang onto our saves?
As for Mass Effect 4, sod it. I'm mostly getting 3 to finish off the story established in 1, so I don't really have any interest in future games.
I'd prefer BioWare to move on after ME3, or maybe revisit the Jade Empire, but they seem perfectly content to stagnate with these franchises they've developed, so I think I'll let them, and find another developer that also makes an effort when it comes to story.

Meh, dunno.....I would like to see Mass effect done through the eyes of another protagonist. Like an Freelancer pirate or something. Not like Galaxy of course,,,

It would be epically boring if the protagonist after Shepard is also a white, male, American space marine.
Humans are lame, which is one of the reasons Dragon Age II is unanimously hated by everyone, all the time.

What about Wing Commander?

Also Warhammer 40K. Pretty much every alien race, while likable in their own right, are more or less fucked up compared to humanity (with the exception of the Eldar and the Tau).

I pretty much have decided that I hate save imports. They don't affect anything meaningfully and just turn into a meaningless development money sink.
They'll be lucky if I buy ME 3 let alone ME 4.

The only time I think the import thing was done really well was through the DA:O DLC. That's primarily why I enjoyed them so much, despite their random quality. In ME2, aside from my Shepard's appearance, I barely noticed it. But yeah, I'm in the "This is where I get off" camp right now. I want to finish the story arc, but I don't feel too good about it. Unless DA3 backpedals on a majority of the odd mistakes it made, I'd rather not support BioWare anymore in its current state. There's too much exploitation going on; we had Felecia Day as herself in DA2, and now we have an IGN reviewer playing Snooki Diana Allers in ME3. It's all really weird to me. =S

Maybe they will let us choose any race. I would like that. It would definitely be a big step in the right direction, in my mind. And they'd have to (possibly) get rid of the voiced player character, which is another big step in the right direction. xD

Sorry to say but when I heard the news before Buch posted, all I have to say is "fuck all of it".
On the lighter side, I hope the speculation turns out to be a major expansion, if not then BioWare is pulling the Halo 4 Schitick. Really I want to end it all in 3 and moveon. Also thanks for jossing my comic big time guys. now i might have to label it as "AU".

I'm holding out on ME3. I'll probably get it eventually to complete the story arc, but I have a sinking feeling it's going to be more like DA2 than ME1.
As for ME4, in a word: no.

I'm pretty invested in Shepard's story right now. Even though his story has gotten crappier as the DLCs rolled out for ME 2. Arrival may very well have killed the entire story arc in my opinion as it was completely out of the freaking blue.
I still want to play ME 3, but I would rather play Kingdoms of Amalur first right now and that is a pretty big FU to my former favorite gaming house.

I really likes the import save feature. I think the ME universe has done it really well. Hopefully 3 will justify my faith, but I'm still curious to see what a fourth could do. Witcher really didn't merge the two together well, nor did DA2.

I dont know other games which have done this save besides Mass Effect, Dragon Age and the Witcher. Anyone else? You know waht would be awesome? You playing Deus Ex; Human revolution...and Deus Ex gets changed by it! It's like Time Travel, except cooler!
