There's always the chance they'll spawn a MMO in a galaxy where everyone is fighting among themselves, and you can pick factions and tear at each other ad infinitum, for a monthly fee.

If BioWare dares to make ME MMO, I want them destroyed!
You have seen what have they done to Revan for their The Old Republic MMO? I want their studio burnt to the ground for making a deisgn document based on it. I will not buy a ME MMO until they fix the goddamn endings for ME3.
And yes, I played an MMO and I know what they are like. One of the bad side of gaming imo. It's too addictive.

Never touched one myself; seen a couple lives half-wasted in MMOs. I hate them with a passion.
But I'm worried because the multiplayer part of ME3 might have just paved the way towards that direction.

They already fucking have The Old Republic! Managing one MMO is bad enough but two?
BioWare is really smoking something and it's the goodlious as Skooma or whatever that most people would be on if they want a good time.
Btw, they should really take a long look at Tabula Rusa. Look how well it went...
And same here. I hate MMOs too.

TOR is quite interesting, as is WoW...well before it was dumbed down with each expansion.

Now that's something I wanna see: a ME MMO (of course Bioware fix those goddamned endings). I wonder how I'll be able to defeat a huge armada of Reapers. Will I have to assemble all players and another galactic fleet? Too much pain...
I agree with you Tilian. I suffered much for wasting my precious time with those MMOs. Better stick with the normal games as some of them have much more adrenaline than MMOs. A good example is Mass Effect.

Ugh. That discussion made me grind my teeth. They have too much EA money burning a hole in their pockets. Try to remain unbiased while there's a giant Mass Effect mural behind you. xD

To be fair, anyone who visits IGN for the gaming news at this point, (or flat out visits IGN), has to be pretty dense not to notice they're totally in the pocket of anyone who'll pay.

You think I don't know that. I just visit it to pass time. Actually, there are better ways to pass time... like starting up a D&D tabletop campaign. Or another game. As that krogan said once in ME2, "That crap rots your brains". I've got my Shadowrun ruleset today, as soon I'm done with my first assignment, I'll be starting up my Shadowrun capaign in the games shop. Not only that would be fun but also I get to play a PROPER RPG.

I don't know if it's a good idea to continue Mass Effect franchise (unless they plan to create a DLC for better ME3 endings). For example, now that the Reapers are done for, what the new heroes will have to fight against? An intergalactic invasion? How will the asari, turians, humans, etc. cooperate with each other now that the mass relays are destroyed? There are too many unknowns for this kind of sequel. You called it! BioWare will make DLC to make a better ending. Swear to god, Shepard better not die. www.ign.com/videos/2012/03/21/mass-effect-3-a-dangerous-precedentStill, if they really are going to do it, it'll take lots of time to plan and design those better endings and I hope one of them ends up at Tali's new house at Rannoch with Shepard and Tali cuddling each other while they look at the beach from the living room. XD

You could just do it cheap like Dragon Age's epilogue screen.

As long it's logical and doesn't require me to slam my head against the fridge when thinking up the logic behind it... I guess I can take it.

I can safely say the mood of this forum has changed for the worst post ME3.... Sorry if I've acted too pessimistic. Didn't mean to. Post-ME3 does make you cynical though. At least it's not as bad as the BSN forums atm. That place is like walking into firestorm.
