I like the detailing in the face. The lines on the face are very crisp and defined. As they should be for the scales.
The hands are a little off though. The wrists look too thick to me but hell that's one of the hardest things to draw from what I've heard. The legs seem twisted a little strangely as well.
Still leagues better than that Dark Horse elementary school art project crap though.

Very nicely drawn, I'd say. Undeniably better than the official comics, and I love the outfits / character design.
A lot of comics have rushed, slightly dodgy art. One rather gets used to that. I'm not so upset at these offical pictures, although the baldness with the turian women is pretty ugly and jarring. I remember a bit in the 'batchelor party' scene in ME2 where the turian guy says something about how the asari resemble turians because of their head fringes? This bald look rather contradicts that.

When I saw a thread called "Female Turians Revealed" I was hoping for the type of pictures I could sit and look at in my dirty raincoat, . Just kidding. I love the design. You can never go too far wrong with a Badass Longcoat/ Labcoat if you ask me! I'm certainly looking forward to seeing more of your comic, too. As for the rushed art in most comics, I think that picture of Miranda I posted the other day says all that needs to be said on that subject. (When your drawing of a femme fatale makes more than one person think of Rosie O'Donnell, you should probably consider a different career.)

I could try and draw nude female turians... but looking at them is like looking at Medusa. So bad luck Glow. Yeah, you can't go wrong with a labcoat. They are pretty awesome most of the time... unless you're watching Grey's Anatomy. On a serious note, I think the labcoat makes her look for prettier and more feminine than the official artist, who was trying to enforce the girliness by making that turian wear a dress... almost a drag queen if you asked me. I've noticed that most comics have that rushed look. I think "Graphic Novels" had proper details... or it's just me and my mini manga collection (The Chobits series were better executed than the ME comics... how sad.) Also the artist needs to get into a still life session class, since having Rosie O'Donnell as a Femne Fatale is too much of a stretch. Speaking of that, been trying to work on a femne Fatale turian version... so far it's not working. Instead, she's like the evil version of the Lady of War trope, especially I made her wear too much armour. Kinda my fault for trying to make her similar to Azula from "Avatar: The last airbender." Don't expecting my comic coming out soon. It will probably be online after ME3 (Due to the timeline of the story is set 21 years after ME3). Also, it will be slightly connected to my current fan fic White Rose, hence the long delay for a while.

I thought about changing the thread to Female Turians Gone Wild, but it would probably just make things worse I could try and draw nude female turians... I don't have anything funny to say about that but I thought it deserved highlighting. ;D This comic really does sound like a great idea. I'll be following this one closely.

My attempt to make it look like a comic style... unfortunately I've over rendered the colours a little too much...

I like it. Very Jedi Knight-like, what with all the flowing fabric and that (something you don't really see in the games, but I think that's more to do with graphical limitations.)

Thanks, I was trying to aim something badass and feminine at the same time, without resorting to add a pink bow, dress or something. Saying that she look Jedi-like means a lot, as it meant I did something right. I've noticed the lack of flowing garments in games as well. Apart from the few exceptions, I think most games don't have that due pain in rigging a few more bones into the 3D mesh just to get the clothes flowing. Also that its why I've kept the quarian labcoat to a waist coat level. Still, it doesn't excuse BioWare with the lack of body build variety in the ME series so far. We need more variation like short turians, fat asaris, Bulky humans, etc. Atm I'm designing an alliance corsair agent who is a bulky BBW, who loves hammertime in my comic. Shold I make a seperate thread that show case my concept art for comic?

Still working on a tittle name, strangely enough I've having trouble making it up this time. As for the comic, progress is slow due to being under pressure from uni, but I can reassure you that it will be out by the time ME3 comes out.
I do have some of my concepts that I've been working so far, including a character backstory doc, which I'll won't be sharing due to being spoilerriffic.
As for the Alliance Corsair agent, she's the type who likes to melee her way through. Normally I wouldn't do a character like this in the ME universe... until BioWare announced that they will be adding a melee class, so... yeah, she'll be playing as the big guy... I mean girl.
I'll post them up in a new thread with more details of the story.

As referring to all the "head fringe" comments, I would assume that they were removed at some point. Either from an interrogation or she was born on another Turian controlled world where the plates are superfluous or something like cosmetic surgery of some sort. I only bring these things up because I can't imagine the female Turians not having the protective plating on their head so their brains will boil from the massive amount of solar radiation on Palaven.

Acutally, there are two female turians that are fringeless from the comics, so I can't really say they got removed from inteergation, especially the 2nd female turian appeared somewhere on Palaven of all places.
But I do agree that the fringeless concept is quite hard to grasp, especially with biology bit where they need some sort of protective plating to shake off that solar radiation on their homeworld. Either the comic artist simplified way too much or didn't get the memo about turian biology from the ME bible.

/cast Necromancing
I had to, no thanks to the reveal officially (Does BioWare ever heard the term "Mysterious appeal")
So if turian females don't have fringes... Well that's explains why we don't see out in combat. They are too busy staying in the kitchen to hide away from that nasty solar radiation that slowly burning up their brain cells. Ha! I'm I right?
*puts on a flame redundant suit.*
Now, to get the shock and the not-so-sensible kitchen joke out of the way. I do admit the design is... pretty. If you can ignore the implication of the radiation from Palaven's sun for a moment.
I might redesign my turian characters again for the comic. Not out of the dutiful sense of bending myself over and serve BioWare's canon, but I love the challenge, where if I can make my characters look attractive in the sense, no matter the obstacle. It's a strange Game Artist habit I don't think I'll grow it out.
So yeah, I'm kinda growing warm to them.
*shoots the thread with a shotgun*

Well, there is also the chance this female might be from one of the Colonies with a less lethal sun?
