In the recent ME: Evolution comics, the female version of the turian race is revealed apparently... And I'm not happy about it =/ And I was imagining turian women like this: Understandable if BioWare follows the design where women are slightly unattractive as men, because their species are based off from birds (who are in rl, males are more prettier than females) but come on! She's like... bold... I mean lack of head fringe. Did Garrus mention about complementing Shepard about her 'head fringe' if she was a turian gal? Also one of the other turians at a bachelor party on Illium did mention that asari looked like blue turians due to their head fringe? What? Did someone drop the canon ball on this one or BioWare retcon it AGAIN? I was hoping that that turian woman is one of the kinda where she had a unique appearance like Saren, I hope not ALL turian women lack the head fringe.

You know, I'm just going to add another petty insult with this picture. Even a turian with an afro looks better than this

Yeah, I saw them. And ugliness aside, I thought turians had that fringe for protection from Palaven's radiation. Do their women get their brains fried instead?

You made a good point lieden. How the hell turian women keep their brain's intact from UV, if they don't have a head fringe to shield it off. There's should be a trope called "Ugly and Impractical" somewhere on the TV Tropes website. Although... wigs do make wonders to protect those feminine turian heads...

After all this time, that is a bit of a letdown.
Also, if they're reptiles shouldn't they not have breasts?

Lol. Reminds me of Tabitha from New Vegas, especially since Saren voiced her as well.

Lol. Reminds me of Tabitha from New Vegas, especially since Saren voiced her as well. That was kinda the whole point of photoshoping her. I wanted to see if anyone managed to figure out the New Vegas reference there. You know, her appearance improved quite a lot with that wig and the glasses. As I've said before, wigs are quite practical for female bald turians when protecting themselves from the UV rays

Also, Garrus mentions the fringe when he gets cold feet about the whole horrible interspecies-awkwardness thing but spirits how can he back out now tries to sweet-talk Shepard.

Oh and one other thing...
Is that turian woman wearing a dress? She should know better than walking around in the dress, considering she applied boot camp in her youth.

I don't see any breasts on her at least. Turians are naturally broad chested. As for the rest, I reallydon' know what the heck gives.

Ewww. But on the other hand, who needs another busty humanoid?

I see breasts, in the second picture on this page... but now that you mention it, maybe not on the others.

.... Am I the only one that actually likes the design?
Personally, if it HAD been something like the third pic, with the curves and what not, I would have been considerably less impressed. Another jump on the assumption that because its female, it has to be curvacious and sexual.
So what if they're ugly? They're not human. This design just helps them feel more "alien", because they don't conform to human (particularly western) standards of sexual dimorphism.
