I just can't get interested in that new Pokemon game. The new Pokemon just look too lame for me. Totodile, Alakazam and Butterfree, now there are some cool poke mans.
I really didn't think I was gonna like Aveline as much as I did. I was surprised by how funny I found her second companion quest, and how much I enjoyed her general story arc.

I liked that quest until she got pissed at me for showing her up in front of the other guards. Like...I just wiped the entire Wounded Coast for you, woman, and now you're getting mad at me for jumping in before you?! You go to heck. xD

Dragonite and Typhosion will always have a special place in me, so yeah I'm a bit miff at first about the new batch, especially when most pokemons from the first few generation won't show up and you have to borrow a 2nd DS to migrate your pokemons from the previous games to this one. However, with the gameplay improvements (TMs are now perminant) and story execution, I'd say it's worth my cash. And at least I've found one pokemon that I call it a favourite and is really awesome in look wise, Swanna. Might not be the strongest but it has a good moveset combos for end game. As for DA2, I'm sorry to say but I going to refrain myself from commenting about it until I played the game, then I have the right to talk about it. I do have to say DA2 seem to be fine, just look at it as a regular game or something, not a BioWare pedigree.

That swan thing actually does look pretty cool. I'm guessing it's Flying/Dark or Flying/Psychic, right?
I wonder if it can learn some sort of arm breaking peck attack...

She's a flying/water, so the combo didn't sounded cool, but she can learn a few good moves for end game like brave bird, ice beam, windstorm, boiling water. I'm quite torn with the choice of moves however. Here are my plans for the moves so far: Surf or Scald Windstorm or brave bird Roost Ice beam or hidden power (hopefully ground or grass) I'll be using life orb once I get it. EDIT: You know, forget what those peeps in Smogon Community say about Swanna being an underpowered pokemon, she's a fricken badass swan. I swear, today I had to battle the last Gym Master, who happens to use dragon type pokemons. My reaction: "Dragons... why it had to be goddamn dragons." At the time, none of my pokemons had any sort of ice or dragon moves to counter them, so I had to resort using Swanna, who was the strongest pokemon in my team at that situation, and constantly bombarding them with "Brave Bird". The result? It turned from a "crappy moment" to an "awesome moment" in pokemon black for me, as I've wipe everyone on the floor with a swan pokemon. So... she's going to be a permanent member for my pokemon core team for now on. ;D

Another one from Pokemon Black.
I heard terror stories on how it's hard to capture Kyurem, a ice/dragon legendary pokemon. They had been warning me to take as many Ultra Balls and Dusk Balls as I can before confronting him.
So I ran up to him and guess how many pokeballs it took to get him?
One. Just one dusk ball and he's a part of my team now.
I'm feeling lucky tonight. Too bad New Las Vegas too far away from my home.

Nice! Whenever I try to catch a legendary without the Master Ball, it always takes hundreds and hundreds of tries...
I wouldn't say what I just did was an awesome moment, but I certainly appreciated it. There's a small side quest in Dragon Age: Origins. At Ostagar, you can meet an imprisoned deserter who will give you a key to a chest of supplies, should you get him some food. You can do that, trick him into giving you the key, or just outright kill him.
Now on my evil character, I wouldn't hesitate to gut him and take the key. With my "good" character, I decided to get the prisoner the food he wanted. Pretty decent, right?
It occurred to me as I went to get the supplies that it's still wrong. My character may be morally good, but he was still stealing from a well meaning army that's about to suffer a heavy loss.
What I appreciate is that the game made no effort to plaster on morality points, and simply let me choose what was right.

That's one of the things I like about DA:O You can make pragmatic choices or sarcastic dickish responses throughout the game without getting punished with the moral value.
Man... what's with me and legendary pokemons in the late? Today I've caught another one. While it took me a couple of save scummings and a couple of ultra balls drained from my inventory, it's all worth it because this is not just some legendary. It's a limited edition legendary pokemon that is known as Victini! It a fire/psychic with a really good stats but not OP enough to be banned from a regular OU match.
You can only get it from selected stores like EB, Toy R Us, etc and they only going to give out from this march to early April. So yeah, I'm building up a really good team here.
Now, my only problem, Which pokemon should team up with Garrus Typhlosion for a dual match? Should it be Dragonite or Victini? Hmm... choices.

Finally finished DA:O. Whew! I had to say the end game section was epic. Say what you will about the usual generic hammy speeches but Alistair did well. Also how all of your party members said their final words to you before 'storming the castle' was quite moving for me. I haven't finished DA2 yet, but I've liked the way the story ends for my character, so I'm a little wary for DA2 end game.
Anyways, I like the whole whole endgame in DA:O set up, I hope there's the last word talks with your party members in ME3. Individually. Especially with certain psychopathic characters like Jack.
Jack: We're finally got to this point and you didn't want to take me? WTF Commander? Shepard: And allow you haunt me, if I've managed to survive this but you don't? Not a chance.

Opening to one of the best video games out there.

Definitely! Andrew Ryan has always been one of my favourite video game villains. Lamb from the sequel was pretty good too. Both of them could talk like hell.
Speaking of which:
Everytime I heard a new one of these speeches, I found myself just staring at the screen slack-jawed. That's some brilliant writing/acting there!

I played the part of L.A. Noire where you meet John Noble's character earlier and I bloody nailed him in the interview! 4/4 questions correct, without using a single bloody intuition point!
Oh, he was crying his eyes out (I'm not sure whether his character actually had eyes, you know, the motion capture doesn't seem to work as well for his wrinkled visage as it does for Cole's babyface.), but I didn't stop. I even got him to admit to assassinating Kennedy!

This had to be one of my favourite moments in Assassin's Creed 2. Shame it was only available with DLC.

It's hard to pick which bit I like from Super Mario 64, but I have to say the sliding sections made me glee with joy at the time.
*Sniff* I need to dust off my N64 and try to get it working again...
