Kinda surprised the Legion was able to mount an attack on the dam after the carnage I wreaked there. Most of the Legion aren't in Caesar's camp (They're with his Legate doing... something until the final battle.) But yeah, Caesar's quite an interesting character, especially ifyou bring along Arcade Gannon when you go to see him.

On a side note. POST 1000, Spectre badge for me. *blows through a noise maker then starts humming through a kazoo the Sousa March of your choice* Well done! The first Canadian Spectre.

Well the Canadian Udina can stop his fist pumping and declaring "this is an outrage!" now.

Arcade had quite a few things to say to him in the cut content of his dialogue. VERY interesting rebuttals I might had.

I've read those one the Fallout Wiki! It was really good dialogue. It's a shame Obsidian has to end up cutting the best parts of their games. (They even cut an entire companion out of New Vegas.)

The companion you're talking about is Odysseus, who will be in the Lonesome Road DLC.

Yeah, I know, but still. His role's been changed significantly (He's namedropped like hell in Dead Money.)

True, but I like to imagine the epicness of a battle between Odysseus and the courier, since they have a REALLY long history behind it.

On account of going down with the flu (2nd time in 3 weeks -_-) I'm continuing the Hardcore playthrough of ME2 with an Adept Shepard. Survived Horizon (which I normally used to fail epically), sailed through the Collector ship, and now I think I've got the hang of it for good. Maybe it's all a matter of good timing, after all. And choosing squadmates with the right powers, of course. Yay?

That's pretty awesome, Lieden. playing an adept on hardcore is pretty damn hard, so yeah I know what you mean. Btw, did you use barrier on your shepard?

Yep! I started using barrier after a friend's recommendation. It goes up only in critical situations, but it makes a huge difference. (I don't think I would have been able to fight the yagh in LotSB without running with the barrier on!)

I love these patient interviews you find in Arkham Asylum. Riddle me this though: Why on Earth does the Riddler look so much like Neil Patrick Harris?

I'm re-playing Mass Effect 2, now - for the first time in ages. I just got donw playing the original, and wanted to carry my Shepard over for a double feature.
This is interesting because it allows me to settle all my old concerns with a good, informed, objective-ish comparison.
And I'm starting to think I owe this game an apology. I loved playing Mass Effect a week or so ago, and had a great time with all those familiar moments. This is maybe my third attempt at the sequel, which I always was so irked by that I spent more time criticising it than playing it.
---
So I go over to Garrus to have my first talk with him, thinking, 'there will only be a few chats in this game... bah, curses, RPGs aint what they used to be' and then I suddenly remember that Garrus only actually talked to me about three times in the first game. 'Okay,' I think, 'so I'll break even with Garrus. Fair enough.'
And we start talking, and I notice how detailed he looks, and how Shepard's questions are not so bland as I'm used to, and how concerned she sounds. The scene is very well-lit, showing one of Garrus eyes very brightly as he angrily exposits, making his armour look darker than it is. And he's moving around as he talks, and Shepard is casually, in an unusually human, or feminine way, leaning her elbow on a railing. Garrus gets up part-way through and wanders off into the next room, and Shepard cautiously follows.
That's pretty good, actually! Certainly a better Garrus scene than I saw last week. They may be limited, but Mass Effect 2 has some very nicely-done dialogue scenes.
