I just read the opening chapter and thought we should have a proper thread for this.
And Gorvar, that was the best thing ever written by anyone ever. I was grinning ear to ear all the way through there. Its absolutely perfect. Thanks for writing, and if there is more I really look forward to it!

This is really good so far. Gorvar seems to have caught the spirit of this forum and turned it into a D&D fanfic. I don't know if I should be anticipating my entry into the story or dreading it....

Thanks guys!
TBH it's quite hard to get everyone's personalities across. I mean for Cali and Glow at least since I'm really not quite sure how to write them down. However for Linders, Lily and Clint I got them down so come the next chapters...well I hope you will enjoy it as well! It's going to tuen from silly to serious a few times kind of since I do plan to make it a epic storyline. Plot starts off simple but turns into a bigger whole kinda thing.

TBH it's quite hard to get everyone's personalities across. Well my character is coming across as wise, kind, patient, sensible, brilliant, deadly when necessary, graceful, with more beneath the surface than he danes to show to those who meet him, and very much Iron's moral compass and a friend to all - sort of confidently and serenely striding between worlds, observing the space and people around him with a solitary and all-knowing sort of smile, an ethereal sense that all is well in his world and that eventually the Universe will join his vision wholly. So I would say you are spot on as far as getting people's personalities across. Really though I like the idea of bringing in seriousness. But write whatever you feel like, man, and I suspect it will be good - it's just a compliment and a lot of fun to all of us to be included.

with more beneath the surface than he danes to show to those who meet him... Danes - what is danes? ;D Do you, perhaps, mean deigns? deign [deɪn] vb 1. (intr) to think it fit or worthy of oneself (to do something); condescend he will not deign to speak to us2. (tr) Archaic to vouchsafe he deigned no reply [from Old French deignier, from Latin dignârî to consider worthy, from dignus worthy] as opposed to Dane (dn) n. 1. A native or inhabitant of Denmark. 2. A person of Danish ancestry. ;D

It's just....
I'm out. You know what? I'm OUT.
YOU ALL CAN JUST DELETE YOUR OWN KITCHENS FROM DUDLEY FROM NOW ON. I'M GOING TO A BEACH AND I'M GOING TO BE ALONE AND NO-ONE WILL MAKE FUN OF ME.

Gorvar, did you take a trip to Halifax and overhear me at work?
No, I haven't actually shot anyone with a crossbow for being unreasonable at work yet but my famous scowl has been likened to such. Otherwise, hilarious and carry on.
