Apparently this is a real thing, from the new Blu-Ray release of the Star Wars films.
Jesus Christ, George. Jesus fucking Christ. Is this deliberately bad, like, revenge because we all laughed at the Vader scene in the last one?
I want to steal the original film copies of these movies so that I can rescue them from these idiots.
If this is true, then Lucas and co. have also carefully added CGI so that Wickett the Ewok blinks a couple of times (just to up the CG quotient to over 50%)......... and re-done the god-damned fucking Han and fucking Gree-fucking-do scene so that Greedo still shoots fucking first but now the whole thing is sped-up so that you can't even see what the fuck is happening at all. Just to rub it in.
And this one is uncomfirmed, but....
That one is actually so funny I kinda like it.
I really can't shake a small feeling that maybe this is just pure spite on Lucas' part, as though the only thing stopping him from adding a Senate scene with Jar Jar and Boss Nass is some kind of court-order.
EDIT: Sorry about the cursing. This just really gets to me for some reason.
EDIT: I realise the great irony in the fact that I edited this post twice.

I'm a bigger fan of Buch's original post. It's like he's not even trying with these edited versions.

Why does George Lucas hate his fans so much? Honestly dudes, i'm relying on Darkhorse Comics and Bioware now to create good stories then the guy WHO CREATED STAR WARS HIMSELF!

I agree with 'WoooOOOOooo'
xD
Alec Guinness was such a good actor he was able to do the voice of a younger, effeminate, American man saying 'Wooooo'.

Normally I would say something snarky and bitchy about George Lucas does it again comment, but he's lucky that I'm batshit tired atm.
So yeah, god damn it.

He reminds me of a fanfiction writer who comes back to his work ten years later and starts altering it, problem is the films were good enough as it is.

And yes, unsurprisingly, Hitler has weighed in on this one too.
(Aside from the one bit which I can't decide if I should consider homophobic...) this was extremely cathartic for me. I feel able to move on now.
"Lucas has now altered more of his own history than Stalin." That pretty much sums it up, right there. xD

I was starting to come around to that line too. I'm just vary wary about casual homophobia. It seems to be one of those prejudices nobody really cares about but me.
A'ight, we have conferred and decided it is okay. *stamp*

Was that sarcasm, Glow, or were you being serious?
Also the Stalin joke was pure gold.
