Meh, any caring I had for that franchise died with the abominations that were the first set of live action movies.
Granted I barely cared to begin with.

Whoooooah, Linders.
You watch that first live action movie again. I think you'll find it's actually a very good kids' adventure movie with extremely good effects, teriffic use of lighting and music, very solid acting indeed and an extremely respectful and clever use of all the main plotlines from the initial run of TMNT comics, with the humour of the cartoons included. And that it has aged a LOT better than any other TMNT product, most of which are actually a bit crap, in all honesty. That movie is the ONE piece of genuine, really hard-working, creative and engaging kids' entertainment that exists in the whole franchise.
I really, really like that film and I think people give it a lot les respect than it deserves because of the two awful sequels. (Although the second movie is very funny in an unintentional way).
I also can do the entire rap that plays at the end as a party piece. 'Donatello' rhymes with 'one other fellow' - it's ingenius.

I like Raphael because of the angst.

"I... hate... MUSIC!" - Billy Zane as Shredder, rapping about hating music.

I truth I never saw any of the live action movies. I just thought it was a terrible product to make a movie of to begin with. I really doesn't help that I was too old to be a fan of the show by the time the movies were made.

I like Raphael because of the angst. And the live action movie invented that angst (or rather borrowed it from Leonaro in the comics)! Before that point, Raph was the funny one. -- Cali, was it really Billy Zane? I've always loved how much he resembled Billy Zane - was it really him?

Somehow I am grateful the "coming out of their Shell tour" never got to Europe...I hope.

*reads the link* This is not a good sign... nor is my reaction. I'm so pissed I'm past the "rage" state. You know how the Joker is always the scariest when he stops laughing? That's pretty much the stage I'm at now.

And for you musical lovers... 50 Shades of Gray is being adapted for Broadway.
Now where's that Picard/Riker double facepalm when I need it?

Just for once, I think you and Jesus might be of the same opinion.
