Dammit, Buch. Now I've got all the epic Army of Darkness quotes running through my mind in various ME characters' voices. xD

Paragon? Renegade? I'm the guy not standing in front of the window.

Damn it, Shepard, you were gone for two years! And now I see you allied with Cerberus? Didn't that night mean anything to you?
Yeah, well, that's just something we call 'pillow talk', you know...

I could do this all day xD

Asari Councillor: You know that story where you saved the Citadel from the 'Reapers'... I uh, think it's kinda cute.
Shepard: Yeah...
*Reaper attacks*
Shepard: Sir, I'm afraid you're going to have to leave the chambers.
Reaper: Who the hell are you?!
Shep: Name's Commander Shepard. Spectres.
Come get some.

Well the boss fight at the end of Mass Effect 1 is still many times better then Mass Effect 2. Giant Terminator? As much as i try to defend ME2 I can't defend that. It was lame.
Harbinger: I'll swallow your soul I'll swallow your soul I'll-....
Shepard: Swallow this *Fires Nuke*
Harbinger: RELEASING CONTROL

I just decided to get Alpha Protocol pre-owned on Amazon. Let's hope I enjoy it as much as everyone else who mentioned it on here seems to have.

Gameplay wise, AP is mediocre and it's a bit rough on the edges since Sega screwed the pooch on pushing it out too soon. That said the story kicks so much ass it's mind blowing. Another bonus is that there's no Paragon/Renegade karma system. Just results.

I'm sure you'll enjoyed the talking bits on Alpha Protocol, Glow. ' ME2 is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me nowdays... still I have to say this. I've KO'd a Geth colossus on foot with my shotgun. seriously. I love the vangaurd class now, I don't know if I could go back to adept now....

I know it's hard going back to an infiltrator with the pure awesome that is the Vanguard. But those were always my favorite 2 classes.
The lack of deadly Geth snipers in ME 2 makes Vanguard a lot more attractive. But the idea of facing those down with a shotgun in ME 1...*shivers* not my favorite idea.

Geth Colosus was fun taking down with a shotgun. Just shield up, boost up your attack and bOOM! One dead geth. To quote the most manly bad ass in the universe of the 20th century (Master Chief holds that title for the 24th century) the one and only Ash Williams. 'Groovy'.

I don't know Linders, I think I can rectify a geth sniper by doing a big hop, skip, jump routine. Only when you're too far away from the sniper to attack and out in the open, that's when I start to panic.
Another one from ME2. Fighting Vasir is a pain on my adept, but as a Vangaurd, it becomes a grown up version of tag. It's fun to chase her around with charge. Fricken hillerious at the same time.

Oh you can Till, but when facing something that could one hit kill you, I prefer to have the ability to hit them at range. Of course in a ME 1 +1 game you can add sniper rifles to the skill set of any class, problem solved.
In ME 2 sniper rifles are fitting for the "Cool but impractical" trope. The only mission where it makes sense to use them as a primary weapon is in Garrus' recruitment mission. There are very few other places in the game where you can really let the added range of the weapon shine, unlike ME 1 where there was a far longer average combat range as a general rule. In short I found Infiltrator more fun and useful in ME 1 (hacking, sniping, repair etc) and Vanguard more fun in ME 2.
