KotOR just has so many great quests. I know I've already mentioned my love for them a million times, but both of the romance quests in that game are magnificent. There are just so many great moments in the dialogue, ESPESCIALLY for female characters.

Carth was amazing. Everything about him and everything he did made sense. Raphael Sbarge deserves an Oscar for what he did with that character. You could tell when you were pushing his buttons from his voice alone, even if the dialogue didn't specify. I was trying to think of some from KotOR II. Putting HK-47 back together was interesting, if only because I was so excited to see him come back again.

Carth was really great. I played KotOR for the first time in 2008, so I was fully spoilered when it came to the story, but his performance (as well as those of the rest of the Ebon Hawk's crew) made me forget about it all.
I loved meeting up with the Jedi Masters on Dantooine in KotOR II, probably because it gave Kreia the chance to get some big speeches out.
Clearing out Paradise Falls and Adams Air Force Base in Fallout 3 was really a great moment. Proving that a good karma character doesn't do just everything with the persuade skill.

I must say, Kreia confronting the angry old Jedi masters was wonderful (even if I didn't understand what they were talking about). That's a real highlight. I enjoyed storming Trayus Academy, too. And actually, the battle on Dantooine was pretty cool. And the big row with Atris was one of my favourite bits. I loved arranging lots of different permutations of that conversation.
And despite my general 'meh' attitude with Fallout 3, I agree Paradise Falls was great.

I remember being pissed off at the game by the time I got to Atris, since you had to go through Peragus II, Telos Station, Telos IV, and then that mystery academy before you could even decide where you wanted to go.
Dang, thinking back now, once you actually got to decide where you wanted to go, KotOR II had a lot of things going for it that could have improved upon the first game. Fighting that civil war on Onderon, helping Canderous on Dxun, pretty much everything on Nar Shadaa. That was a good game wedged between a very drab beginning and end. =O

Wiping out Paradise Falls is even more fun dressed as Lincoln and using his repeater. XD
What's so disappointing about Kotor 2 is that they had some great stuff planned, but had to cut a lot of it to get it out in time for the holiday season. Like, for example, in the full game, Malachor V would have been similar to the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2, with many characters taking part in the battle (rather than just the Exile) and even being able to potentially die.
One of the coolest sounding scenarios would have been if you turned Atton to the light side and trained him as a Jedi. He would have rushed ahead of the Exile and tried to take out Darth Sion. The player would have controlled the fight, winning would result in The Exile catching up in time to take Sion on herself, but losing would have meant Atton gets mortally wounded and ends up dying in her arms.

I've heard the audio files for that scene, and some of the stuff on the missing planet with HK37 and the robots.
Glow is right - the worst thing about Kotor2's ending is that is with another couple of months, it would have been incredible. The Atton/Scion scene was marvellous. It actually subtly hinted at parallels between the two characters. For God's sake why did that go and Telos stayed???

That's the thing about Obsidian, they always have these eureka moments and get innovative ideas for great games, and then they get high or someone changes the deadline and the game is released 75% done.
Hope New Vegas becomes their ticket to fame.

Obsidian's problem is they pile too much on their plate for the deadline they have quivering with inspiration and innovation. They end up choking on the workload they give themselves. KOTOR 2, Alpha Protocol hopefully not New Vegas definitely not Neverwinter Nights 2(no amount of good writing could have saved that bland mess)

The mechanic in KotOR II where your party members would change their alignment based on your actions was brilliant. It was like the precursor to the DA and ME approval systems.
I really hope they get another chance to make something original. Or hopefully Bethesda will buy them out or something so that they won't have to deal with Sega again - of all publishers. -.-

"For Auld Lang Syne" and "I Could Make You Care", Arcade Gannon and Veronica's respective companion quests in New Vegas. They had to be some of my favourite quests in the entire game, especially after the mangling the Enclave and (especially) the Brotherhood of Steel got in Fallout 3.
And "The House Always Wins", just because I happened to like Mr. House. Working for the NCR feels a bit dirty and Caesar's quests are basically just to wipe everyone out (Though "Et Tumor, Brute?" was great fun.)

Yeah, those are really good quest, especially Arcade's quest. It's a bit of a tearjerker in retrospect. And a refreshing change to see the grey morality in the Enclave faction. Not everyone is a complete prick or an idiot. Something that... you get the picture.
I also like the last part of the Wildcard pathway "No Gods, No Master". I feel like a magnificent bitch, just by manipulating and hogging the Mojave Wasteland to myself. Not the best ending but still it made me feel like a cool manipulative bitch, snapping everything at her heels.
My other favourite quest is probably the Atomic Wang Dang Tango quest, due to funniness in sleeziness, especially at the end when Garrett was a 'little' too excited with his new sex robot.

Actually I felt that No Gods, No Masters was one of the better outcomes handled correctly, you know, Skynet aside. The NCR only really cared about the Dam, the rest of the Mojave could have burned to the ground for all they cared, Don't even get me started on Caesar's Legion and Mr House mostly seemed to care about keeping Vegas spiffy and shiny while taxing everyone to death for "protection." There was no perfect choice but at least the Wild Card ending made it clear that the Mojave was not going to be anyone's bitch. Maybe, just maybe if NCR cleans themselves up and wants to treat the people of the Mojave as an equal partner I'll let them back in.

True, but the BoS made me a bit concerned, especially if you spare them in the end. Then again, I should just kill them next time, considering they haven't learn their mistakes...
On the other side of the coin, while the NRC are a major pain in the ass, at least they make Mojave comfortable for citizens, not to mention that they encourage the Boomers to become trade partners, keeping the BoS in check if they both signed a truce and having the area being supported by the state overall.
While the Wildcard path was good and all, especially if you're following the good path, the Mojave had to fend for themselves for the most part, so some people were benefit, while others are at a disadvantage in some cases. Think of like the 3rd world country that was just got freed from the reins of their invaders.
Still I like the Wildcard ending, only because I like the idea of following one's altruistic aim.
