Thats why a nice little stand alone shooter with limited biotics (because you still have to have biotics) would be best for a ME multiplayer game. The story line could be open, and vague. It could take place after ME3, so they find a way to make any one a biotic. And the maps could be any where, and every where.
I just don't see a Mass Effect MMO working. Not that they wouldn't try it. Just, I hope they don't. Still haven't figured out if I want to try Old Republic.

Same here Renegade, I'm still trying to wipe all those messy retcons on the Warcraft lore due to the MMO genre.
A Mass Effect MMO might work in theory but I've mention a few threads ago that I've expressed my disdain and fear about a ME MMO, due to the fears of screwing up the lore for the sake of catering players, in the similar vein to WoW where... ugh, that blood elf prince from the Warcraft 3 game got a derailment of character.

Though I've never really played World of WarCraft, I keep hearing that they did some horrible lobotomies to the lore and canon. Makes me think how they're going to make the story for WarCraft IV.

Well here's a very interesting fact: Diablo II was announced two months after Diablo I was released, screenshots and everything. Blizzard is entirely unpredictable when it comes to sequels.

I honestly think WarCraft IV is dead.

Blizzard hints quite a bit that they're working on it. There's a few games on their unannounced projects list, so my hopes are up.

Even if it does come out my hopes are not high for it.

Yeah I'm on the fence with Diablo III. I'm pretty much just getting it because I love the Diablo lore. And I want to see what buddy Dakard Cain is up to. And I want to see if he know what this thing is.

Why my hopes aren't up for Warcraft IV is because of the lore... it's all messed up now

I hear you, Hodster. Though I'm pretty optimistic about them splitting WoW and the RTS games into two canons or lore patterns as its entirely possible. Blizzard is really good at retconning, and they do it a lot more than George Lucas.

Still waiting for Diablo III. Hopefully they done well with it this time. I haven't got Starcraft 2 atm, so no judgements on me. Despite my liking with Blizzard was lessen in the past couple of years, I'm still trying to look at the positive side.
Except for Warcraft 4. Like the others said before, I don't have high hopes for Warcraft 4. Not because the lore thing but I'm just afraid that blizzard was enjoying milking their success in WoW so much, that they might decided to canned Warcraft 4. So... yeah.

And Till even tho it hasn't been said yet its in my mind that they already canned WC4. But Starcraft 2 end on the month WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I love Starcraft, but I'll hold off as well for a bit. I don't need it THAT badly. Now, ME3 will be a different kettle of fish.
