You know what I want to see in Mass Effect 3, a bisexual turian with a lisp and his krogan lover. It could be a side mission called "Thug love" or something. That's one hell of a crack pairing. I'll laugh if that happens in ME3. ;D Anyways at the end of the day when it comes to the reason for the universal aesthetic attraction to the asari, let's just say that they were empowered by biotic stripper magic and let's leave it at that.

You know Renegade... I feel tempted to write a crack fic about that. You know write a side mission story based on Thug Love. Just for fun and the sheer hilarity to see fan boy and girls getting a little disgusted with it. Not in a lemon way of course, that's taking a little too far. Even I have standards from time to time.
*sigh* I better go and play more games to keep myself sane.

Yeah I need to get around to finishing a fan fic instead of just writing 5 paragraphs, reading through it, and deciding its too stupid or poorly worded to continue. Never realized how hard fan fic were until I tried writing one.
Any way... multiplayer in mass effect. I think its a good idea, but BioWare has very little experience in the multiplayer shooter genre. Not that its too difficult, I'd just like to see something unique and balanced. Or just balanced, since most shooters have already been done a thousand times.

Yeah tell me about it. That's why I've kept wondering why anyone can write few chapters at ease.
Anyways back to multiplayer, that's the main reason why I'm a little concern with BioWare when they mention sort of multiplayer element. They don't add multiplayers in their games that much, so it looks like a uphill battle for them.

I suppose it comes down to how well they plan the multiplayer element, and how good the programming team is that actually develops it. I'm personally doubtful Bioware will do this, at least in MA3. Why make such a potentially divisive change to a successful single player franchise? Whatever follows will have MP elements, for sure, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You know it's possible that the multiplayer mode isn't actually for me3. The first part of the listing reads like it might be a description of the company. Of course that interpretation makes me wonder what project they'd need a multiplayer programmer for.

Multiplayer will fail epicly if they tried 2 do that, it'll just turn into a Multiplayer typical COD Team Deathmatch thing with ranks, which is absolutley a fail.
Online Multiplayer, as in Co-Op, with a completley different storyline, like u have some acient twin or something, might work.
But Team Deathmatch type modes? FAIL Can you imagine just spamming biotic powers over everyone, everyones gonna be something like a Vanguard and just come charging at you and then kill you as soon as ur on the ground, a big no no for me lol

I'd play ME DM There is really only so much you can do with a shooter in multiplayer. I think team based modes would be best for ME, but they would be modes we are all familiar with.

Fair enough. I just had a few bad experiences with a couple of DM in my days.
Really, if BioWare is going to add a competitive multiplayer, as someone mention a few threads before, they have to balance out the classes even harder, mainly some of the special abilities might be slightly OP to other classes. (Infiltrator's invisibility cloak and the bullet-time ability on the soldier.) And mind you, balancing classes are hard. Just look at WoW. Even after 6 years later, they still didn't balance the classes right, and people still bitched about it.

Any multiplayer would be with a completely different game. I can think of 2 abilities that warp time that would have to be removed or re-specced. Infiltrator's snipe skill and the adrenaline rush for soldier. Can't have that when more than one player is on the same map. For this reason alone my money is on a d9ifferent game after ME 3 being the target for this. Likely an MMO because that is where successful game franchises go to die.
I would not mind a multiplayer co-op mode, but I will never play an MMO. Basic simple things like common courtesy have a habit of disappearing on the internet, and I am too old to be called a useless noob by some 13 year old gaming whiz.

I'm with you Linders. I'm also getting too old to start getting childish fights about gearscore crap on some MMO by some 13 year old ellist dick who have forgoten the definition of the word "fun". Seriously I want to enjoy the game not getting into wall piss contesting by comparing gear.
