I'm reading an old Star Wars book that I bought for the funny title: Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu. And once again - this happens every time I buy a stupid-looking book for a laugh - it's actually very good. It's in the top tier of Star Wars books I've read, anyway. And because it was written before the prequels, it contains all kinds of insane stuff that totally clashes with the Expanded Universe, including Lando saying he saw DINOSAURSon a planet once. xD I MUST READ THIS!!!!!

lol. It's just a brief mention - you may be disappointed. But my first thought was 'Gorvar!' And then my second thought was 'Wait, there are dinosaurs in Star Wars?!'

I like Lando TBH, he is a smuggler guy like Han. I can relate to them in Star wars stories. Also I saw Night at the Museum just for the skeleton T-Rex, i can manage.
Edit: Well, those thingies the Gungans ride and Trandoshans count?

Currently re-acquainting myself with 1st edition AD&D books for the latest "Makeshift Skin" rewrite/bludgeoning (the story now takes place in the late 80s/early 90s, so characters can't simply use Google or a smartphone, etc.. Besides, rolling a 20 and cutting my opponents in half was always good for a cheap laugh in college-- especially when certain party members would piss me off and I'd decide to attack them).

I always wanted to play D&D. Although I wonder if I'd get tired. I don't have the patience for chess, for example. Short attention span.

You are only saying that because my Lizardman bard would kick your half-elf sorcerer's ass.

My half-elf wizard would kill you, create a construct of you, and force THAT to sacrifice itself for him. Or he would have, if it wasn't for those meddling kids.

Welcome back.
My quest to educate myself continues. I've just finished Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis - thought it was terrific if incredibly depressing. And I'm starting Fahrenheit 451 today, which is really good so far.
