Alfred going Taken on some people was indeed pretty sweet. He's definitely the same guy who goes on to beat ninjas with golf clubs and crush assassins under giant coins.
Poison Ivy showing up again sucked. I honestly don't know what possessed the writers to think "You know that femme fatale botanist? I wonder what she would be like as a ten year old!"
I am looking forward to seeing the proper Arkham Asylum when the show comes back. We're getting Strange and Scarecrow, which could, but probably won't, be cool. I dunno, maybe Leslie Tompkins will allow the show to have a half-decent female character.
I've just started watching Terriers to get my Donal Logue fix. He's a pretty cool actor.
Just realised I was wrong about Lovecraft, too. Clearly the real culprit will be Adolf F. Wayneskiller, revealed in the next few episodes.

I just want to hear/see Amadeus Arkham's story in it's all facked up-ness.
Donal Logue is awesome, I first came across him in a family sitcom called "Grounded for life" and then as King Horik in "Vikings". So the guy obviously has range and I love him for it.

Lovecraft got killed by the mysterious powerful people who really run the city.
Hoot hoot, bitches.

The Court is now in session...
Sadly my lore on Alfred is pretty low but he was trained/was part of the English SAS wasn't he? Explains why he is so bad ass? Also mentioning Taken, Liam Neeson/Ra's al Ghul...oh boy.

This version of Alfred was apparently a Royal Marine. I would seriously love an Alfred backstory episode where he goes from that, to working for Thomas Wayne. With a bit of an acting career thrown in.

I dont know, I kinda like backstories just like that. Backstories. Somethings unveiling someone's apst in a prequel aint the right way to go. That's just me though. I like the Micheal Caine version to though.

Already done.
I like Donal Logue, but after I catch up to this mid-season finale, I think I'm done.

You're quitting Gotham?! But don't you wanna see the thrilling story of how Dick Grayson was concieved? Or see Gordon go to Arkham and meet Batman characters like Hugo Strange or Scarecrow, and see them do and say things like they're known for in other Batman media? Or more scenes of unscarred Harvey Dent sitting in shadowy rooms that make it look like half his face is blackened or damaged in some way?

Hey, Gotham's back on soon! This is good for two reasons; One, because I finished watching the extremely unfairly cancelled Terriers and need some more Donal Logue, and two, my motivation for the Gordon/Penguin slashfic I was writing during the hiatus is waning.

This week in Gotham!
We see Arkham Asylum, and it's pretty insane just as I pictured it! The Barbara storyline continues, huzzah...whoo... No Bruce Wayne yet. Penguin did a Icarus but survived. Donal Logue is pretty much the Feste if this were a Shakespeare play. I missed this guy! Possible reveal of the Joker and Killer Croc? Jada Plinket Smith's right hand man has a bit of a character depth now, i dig!
