That would explain why he didn't like Gordon or Harvey or the GCPD to much. Also a small correction. The baddie I thought was the Joker is supposed to be the Electrocutioner. A small departure there, sure. Also who else knew immediately which Shakespeare play it was in the beginning? I did! Thanks Uni, those three years and the massive amount of debt I still have to pay off was money well spend!

I thought he was just a bad Hannibal Lecter impression. Also, I know that guy! Electrocutioner was in Arkham Origins. It was a pretty tough bossfight.

Had to look it up to confirm, but was pretty sure it was Tempest due to the costumes and references to Islands. Also, there are worse sentences than to be only able to quote Shakespeare the rest of your life.
I knew Christopher Heyerdahl had to be more than just a side thought. It's like when Burn Gorman showed up in an episode of Forever...

Holy shit, just realised that Fish's club is totally the future Iceberg Lounge.

Gotham just got renewed. So I guess we in for 45 episodes of Batman not showing up, terribad cases of the week and Penguin being delightful instead of 20 odd.

This week in Gotham.
The guy is indeed called the Electrocutioner. Penguin slips up AGAIN. But he gets up fast and has the fish. Donal Logue is back to his "Grounded for life" routine of funny, smartass guy who instead of owning a pub is now a cop. Gordon takes a page from Indiana Jones of making shit up as he goes along. We get to meet Barbara's family (whooooo >.>)...and their butler reminds me of Liam Neeson's model in Fallout 3 if you play a black guy/gal. Zasz turns out to be good Iago for Don Falcone. The Riddler still trying to flirt with his colleague and fails horribly...dork. The GCPD Building is easier to invade THEN BELGIUM! Yeah, I said it! We got a cool Sopranos-esque ending.

I love how Falcone strangles somebody then turns to fish and says "That's just wrong". The irony was on purpose and obvious, but gives a glimpse into the truth about Falcone. He set himself up as beneficent Godfather, who only did what he had to, and here we see his true nature.

What no Gotham review this week?
Since when do Fish Mooney and Harvey Bullock have a romantic relationship? It was invented just for this episode!
Also, Jim Gordon may get flustered, but turn to Penguin & the mob? Weird.
Bruce Wayne has legitimate crazy issues. Way to go, Alfred. You just saved Gotham (and created a perpetual cycle of insane maniacs trying to destroy it...)

Maybe sanity prevailed and Gorvar just started watching The Flash instead.

This week in Gotham.
Penguin needs a better torturer. More Year One characters making a cameo. The intro is after 6 minutes of running time...wha? Butch is Batman!...Kinda...or at least trained by the League of Shadows. Walter White is selling his blue meth to Gothamites as well now. The Riddler needs to get laid. Iceberg Lounge in the making! Flass is a bit of a dick! Riddler is a Star Wars Episode 1 fan. Penguin is a Train Spotting fan. Bruce and Selina's love story continues...whooo...>.> Penguin slips up AGAIN....goddamnit! Zasz turns out to be a guardian angel? Butch is VERY loyal to Fish, I mean DAYUM. Penguin has good henchmen! You can say what you like but they get results man. HArvey and Fish...eeeeh? Kinda see it? Sorta?...I mean everybody loves Donal Logue.

God, I hate the Riddler in this. If this was the Nygma I know and love, he would have been acting with a sense of haughty assurance that Kringle would obviously want to go out with someone as intelligent as he is, then flown off the handle in a psychotic manner the first time it seemed like she was mocking him.
Also he would be played by Glenn Howerton.

Also I was so bored by the case of the week in this episode, I just kinda phased out and tried to remember where I knew the guy who played Flass from.
I think he was one of the thugs who beat up RDJ in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. Great film.
