So I hate to say it after my uh... outburst about the Collectors... but I'm actually starting to look forward to the Omega DLC. I'm just starting to feel a little less negative towards it. I heard that there will be a female turian, and that Aria will at one point fight alongside you as a temporary squadmate. I just think that sounds cool, and provided it's well-written it might be a nice way to tie up some loose-ends left over from Mass Effect 2. As always, Eurogamer is to blame.

The "outburst" link did not work.
Hmm. We shall see.

The "outburst" link did not work. Cheers. It's this: If that's an actual DLC, I might reconsider getting it once I've reinstalled ME3. On a serious note, I've heard the actual news and... my interest with the ME series is still low, lower than a guy who just came down after going high on whatever stuff he's into. I'm even more concerned since it will feature female turians. I'm getting the feeling that I have to redesign Zahra (and the rest of the femTurians I have for the comic) AGAIN for the umpteeth time. I'm so sick of being jossed again and again. And people wondered why the fandom is becoming quieter and less lively in the late. /rant off

I hope we will get some of the underworld vibe thing again, i loved that feel in ME2. In a middle of a Reaper Crisis? That's pretty wierd to me. Unless they renamed the DLC "Mass Effect: Prohibition" and having a Space Elilot Ness... actually come to think of it, I rather play that DLC, than reclaiming for some asari deadbeat who couldn't even lift herself off her seat to get it back herself.

Me either.
But I won't put it past BioWare to *find* a way to make it relevant to the War. Everything else in the game is. I think it's likely the writers will have made it so that helping Aria is not the main objective so much as something that happens while you go after Cerberus or whoever.
If they can make that work, it may be great. If they can't be bothered, we may have another 'Arrival' on our hands. Best to wait and see what the actual plot is, here.

I would be more interested if they would have made the "assets" worth a crap. I mean, I spent all this time collecting, and if they're at 50% or 100%, not one change. That just baffles my mind. "You need to play multiplayer" Why? So your arbitrary number is higher!

Well the war assets effective level determines whether the ending involves blowing Earth up or even the entire galaxy. the small changes in the cutscenes are supposed to show that.
The multiplier just effects how much scrounging in the single player you need to do to get the best ending. That's pretty much it Clint. This has been well known for months.

Thankfully, with the EC DLC they lowered the required EMS so you don't have to play mp ^^
Oh, and I'm personally looking forward to Omega DLC, hopefully with Aria as a temp squaddie.

It's true: you don't need to play multiplayer to get the best ending. I didn't touch multiplayer on my first game and got the 'best' ending possible.

I have a confession to make--when I saw one of the first promotional pictures for an upcoming DLC, presumably Omega, I have no idea what that guy standing to Shepard is. That is all.
