Imagine how hilariously anti-climactic that bit at the end of the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2, where Shepard has to run and jump back onto the Normandy, would be if you could buy a dozen hoverboards on the Citadel before the mission, though. If that happens, I'll going to let this one slide in the Decontructive thread, mainly it's will be bloody amusing, a bit of a mood killer though.

Double post, becauses there's this question that just been bugging me.
So how's the incineration works exactly on the omni-tool? I've check the ME wiki and there's not much answers on that one. From the discribtion about how the omni-tool blade works from the said site, is it safe to asume to think that any skilled omni-tool user could pull a fire bending techniques on their foes, while it's workable in the ME verse?
Just wondering.

Honestly, it looks a bit to me like they invoked the "rule of awesome" on that one. By that I mean incineration works from the omni-tool, because it works.
In ME 1 all tech skills were generated tech mines that the Omni-tool created. In the context of the lore, it made a certain amount of sense. Incineration makes no discernible sense that I can interpret. The ME 1 tech mines were linear and area effect. Incineration homes in on a target, curves around walls and mostly affects a single target. It also seems to invoke a fair bit more energy than a handheld computer tool would be expected to manage.
So yeah, "rule of awesome."

If that requires to follow the "rules of awesome" and a healthy dose of the MST3K mantra, then I'll so going to add some sci-fi firebending in my comics.
It's much more plausable then you think, honest!
Seriously, I agree that incineration ability takes more than just a handheld device, also let's not even mention how on earth it can materialise fire? Same goes to cryo tech, how can it materialise ice? I think BioWare wants to create the sci-fi version of an elemential wizard, but they kind of missed the mark in a few ways, mainly due to the shooting mechanics in-game.

Or maybe magic does exist in ME, like the force? I think the Inceneration and Cryo Stasis abilities are skills from specificly made Omni tools with that tech in mind. Like eezo makes stuff freeze or...burn...SCIENCE!

Gorvar has the right of it. The Insano Corp omni tool can create homing fire-balls, homing freeze-balls, a varied selection of mines and now a large, indestructable blade that cuts through steel and then vanishes...... with SCIENCE!

Did I say it's a bad thing? No, not really.
Sometimes there are acceptable breaks from reality, I mean honestly, imagine trying to apply realistic weight system and then carrying a shitload of inventory. Not fun honestly.
Besides, I just want to test this minor flub, just to see if anyone is having a negative reaction at the idea of having a sci-fi version of firebending with omni-tools. So far, it's the coast is clear, think I'll implement that idea.

I suddenly noticed that Liara has eyebrows, and none of the other asari do. Where did she get them, and why?

I think I read some bullshit from one of the artists who said that Liara's eyebrows are actually facial markings like you see on other asari that happen to look exactly like eyebrows.

Benezia is also far less likely to do anything like emulate human looks or customs due to her personality having been fully realized long before humans became relevant to her. So maybe the artists would like to acknowledge that they simply fucked up here? Or is eyebrows as you said some weird recurring genetic thing in this one family?

Or maybe they wanted to appeal to the male audieance as a possible romantic LI for ME when it comes to Liara. They didn't want to stray away from the attraction familarity.
As For benezia, I don't think she had those eyebrows. I could be wrong but from the final product of the concept art, she had differnt tattoos that doesn't have eyebrows. (Mostly black blotches). The reason why you didn't see it because it was unclear in game.
Do you want me to scan or find the nearest source of that concept art?

From the game, which is really all that is properly relevant. The concept art is one thing, but the actual result from the game makes it pretty clear that it was eyebrows. Every in game image has it in that shape. It was no mistake. The artists just seem to be back filling at this point.

Yeah, I can't argue with that. Clear as day. To be fair, my memory of the trilogy is not as sharp as it used to be, which is probably a bad thing as a fan fic writer in general.
Still, I find that baffling that Benezia had these eyebrows. I still don't get it in terms of in-character or lore.
