Did anyone else follow the link at the link to the press release? The "FREE" thing? Only until 2014, then we're paying for it.

Awesome! I love how they are saying they're fixing the ending w/o destroying the original vision of it blah blah blah. Whatever, so long as they fix it. And I still get to write about Bucky the Starchild! Did anyone else follow the link at the link to the press release? The "FREE" thing? Only until 2014, then we're paying for it. Yeah I saw that

Or it just becomes unavailable. Because, you know, the ending was perfect anyway but some spoiled brats didn't get it and needed extra 'clarification'
(Oh, well, that's just me being very mean early in the morning.)

Oh, God, don't word it like that. I just told one of my friends who thinks that we're all being unreasonable about it to go suck Bioware's fat, bloated cock over calling the people who are demanding better "spoiled, self-entitled brats". Either way, I like this less and less the more I read it.

Hey, hey, I take part of that back! Looks like there may very well be playable content.

I'll take a gain of salt if I were you. Merizan maybe a part of BioWare but she's not in the development team. You never know what these people would do these days.
Then again, it's probably me hitting the HK milk tea again. I'm not thinking straight at this point.

Told ya tea is bad for you, it;s the devil's drink. Here's hoping the dlc will be worth it though, i mean after two sucker ounces like DAII and the ending of ME3...we kinda need something awesome again.

Hey! Tea isn't that bad. There are worse things you could drink, like... umm, Zero Coke, or something.
I'd wait for now. Also I'll be cooking popcorn in prepreration for the extended cut.

I'm pretty excited to see how this "Extended Cut" turns out. I think now that BioWare have been able to see all of the inaccuracies that suddenly popped up at the end, they might be able to salvage what ended up going down.
Honestly, if they choose to take the series in a different direction down the line, this ending was a great way to do that. But that's the problem: it seemed to be setting up for another game when it should've been closing up the trilogy. When devs are already working on the sequel before they finish the ending of the first game, I think they lose a bit of perspective. Possibly.
I just can't understand how a game that provided some seriously masterful endings some some of the characters and plotlines decided to end the game the way they did. It still gives me a headache, but at least they're attempting to make things right. Sucks we gotta wait until summer, though. =S

I don't know if the booze factors it. I know the best ideas do came from the booze. While YMMV with FFX, there are some good billiant moments of the game that do came from the developer's session with sake, like the Blizball mini game idea and Nobuo Uematsu's (FF main composer) composition. And in my case, it took me a bottle of Cider and a Margarita to actually firgue out a few ideas for my comic that were... less desirable and should be taken out. (Buch knows what I'm talking about.) Along with adding another idea for a new game I'm coming up with for the iPad and Android. If the rumours are true... I think the developers came up with the ending while sober. If not, too much coffee I think. I know I have productive issues if I take a cup of coffee. Hence I've been avoiding it like a plague.

Told you YMMV. However, I still stand that there are some of the best ideas that were came from a hard drinking session... if done right and not being abusive. I know a couple of artists and musicians pulled out something grand while taking a sip or so.
It's just BioWare losing their edge in their writing skills, along with the political office problems that get in the way of creativity. Even while sober, they still can't get over that. Also you know what they are acutally drunk? Egotism. That's how it muddled up their judgement near the end of the production.
