Am I the only one who's looking forward to this? I dunno, I loved the first novel. I'd like to see this universe explored. (Just please, no more mages vs templars - I didn't even give a shit in Origins.)
I may even watch this Felicia Day show they have (she is very pretty).

I've been waiting like two years for Redemption heh. But yeh, the anime seems to be interesting. It has dragons, a intrigue plot thingy and we get to know Cassandra better.

I don't know, maybe it's just me but I don't really care for the DA universe atm (especially after having a bitter taste with DA2.) Again, either I'm almost done with the usual low-fantasical setting or like Adam from Good Omens, it doesn't always match up with my wild imaginings sometimes.
On the other hand, I would love to see something that expanded the Deus Ex setting, in fact I would welcome it with open arms if someone did an anime of Deus Ex that based AFTER Deus Ex 1 and it's massive retcon from Deus Ex 2.

In the fallout of HBO's 'Game of Thrones' i'm sad to say you'll see more dark fantasy shtock in the next few months. But i would like a Deus Ex movie....question, why did Invisible War suck?

I might check it out. But like Till, I need some more time to wash out the excessively bad taste left in my mouth by DA 2.
I think low fantasy may have been a little overused as late not just by Game of Thrones but by The Witcher, and DA as well.

Honestly, Dragon Age always seemed like a high fantasy to me, except everyone has sex with prostitutes, swears, and there is generally more blood.
But yeah, I could care less about Cassandra. But not much.
We have got Skyrim to look forward to next month. The Elder Scrolls have always been pretty hi-fantasy, right?

Except for their wierd fetish with having the game start out in prison all the time, yes. Not sure if my rig can handle it I'm sorry to say.

I agree with Glow there. Dragon Age is supposed to be dark fantasy, but i never got that same vibe like A Song of Ice and Fire did. There isn't that much backstabbing (twice for every origin with Ostagar included) and small bits on politics. I know i'm rocking that book series hard the past few months, but i'm just saying post DAII....it was like finding a holy grail ater fidning out the original treasure was just one small chest of dubloons that are barely worth anything.

One of my main problems with DA being a "dark fantasy" is that they have one person solving every problem in the world without that much effort (the Warden in DA: O, Hawke in DA2/3 probably). I mean, can you imagine if Eddard Stark managed to expose the conspiracy, talk Robert into being a good king with his Charm skill, jog up to the Wall and get his wife to accept his bastard son, then somersaulting over the wall to beat all the Others up?

It would be a very short series indeed...that and Tyrion would have nothing to do. This new game 'Dark Souls' seems to do that better in the hopelessness of a game. Whatever you do in this game, how many bad guys you kill, it's still a pretty dreary world you life in. To be honest, i think it's best we call DA:O a Epic High Fantasy game. With boobs.

We're still figuring out Jon's origins in Book 5! (This means more if you've read book 5 through to the end)
And That would be awesome. But Cersei would probably still kill Robert eventually.

Plus 15 paragon points for slapping Joffery, whooo! I thought Jon's mum was that chick from Harrenhall who commited suicide or something?
