I saw that movie 'Immortals'.
I hope this isn't a spoiler, but.
There is a bit where Mickey Rourke pours oil all over a guy. And then he says 'Allow me to enlighten you' before he sets him on fire. Awesome.

Could be worse, he could've said 'you need to lighten up'.

That scene is pretty immortal for sure. I never fail to get emotional every time I see it.

Eyes Wide Shut is one of those movies I have a love/hate relationship with. On one hand it's a very well directed film with great cinematography, on the other hand it's crazy and weird as hell, even by Kubrick standards.
Some may call this a drawn out scene, but I love it. And it isn't because of the female nudity in it. I see an incredibly haunting, well shot tableau of a descent into a different world, with incredibly magnificent eerie music (a reverse of a Romanian Orthodox liturgy).
Again, I warn you this isn't exactly safe for work, if the thumbnail didn't tell you that before.

Im sorry, but when I see Daryll i just expected him to use a crossbow. Completely ruined the film for me.

There's just something to be said for it. Always loved that movie. Definitely not to be taken seriously though. I'm not a fan of vigilantism, but in the situation presented in movie it was some damn cool stuff.

The opening scene to Contact is pretty badass. (Can't remember if I liked it here or not. That's been happening a lot lately.) It has Carl Sagan's fingerprints all over it.

I never was at all a fan of the TV Show Pee Wee's Playhouse, but the movie is unbelievably awesome.
