Telltale are now doing a Minecraft game.
They're blowing through that TWD1/The Wolf Among Us goodwill really quickly, aren't they?

Predictions:
* The guy you had to sentence in Episode 1 will show up in the background at the Wall if you sent him there, and/or die after a couple of scenes. * The King's Landing intrigue will be so intriguing that Cersei and Tyrion never mentioned it in Season 4. * Being restricted solely to voice will not improve Jon Snow's acting. * Two characters will be placed in mortal danger, and you'll have to choose who dies and who dies in Episode 3. * "75% of people chose not to be a total prick."

Alright, i'm just done playing episode 2. And if you are a good machiavellian you have House Forrester fighting back! Asher is just as much as a wise cracking bad ass I expected/made him to be. I love this guy and his partner already! Cant wait to see more of him. It's a shame we only see him thrice, epilogue included. I like how each PC has a supporting cast now and characters I really would like to know more about. Asher's partner i think deserves a codex entry, she is just so awesome looking.
Likewise I really dig the characters of the Night's Watch in this! Frostfingers is awesome, Cotter the potato fucker is cool and hell even Jon Snow is cool in this. Though I am suprised he aparantly holds some kind of authority in the Night's Watch at this moment in time...
Mira and Tyrion are still best buds in this much to my enjoyment. I overall like Peter Dinklage's performance in this, he sounds hell of a lot more active then he was in Destiny. That wizard came from the moon.... Also I killed a Lannister guy with Mira and made a awesome friend with the coal boy. You DONT fuck with the North!
Also the big shocker, Rodrick is alive and is the new lord of Ironrath. Man I loved playing this guy, he is like Ethan was but MORE bad ass despite the fact he is woudned and buggered like all hell. I told Whitehill to fack off, secured a alliance (only 40 percent of the players when i played this succeeded as well so WOOO i am awesome) and I am now the new big dick G, rolling with Royland. Duncan can still fuck off though. Man I wasnt hard enough on him when I was Ethan. Fuck that guy!
And of course, the epilogue scene with Talia singing...send shivers down my SPINE yo! From Ice indeed! IGN only gave this episode a 7/10....which is absolute bullshit. I think Episode 2 is BETTER than Episode 1 because you got a lot more agency now. Deffo worth several playthroughs! Edit; Also Laura Bailey is in this! Person who knows where she pops up gets a cookie!

So it's up to Telltale's usual standard, Gorvils? And it does right by the source material?
Seems to me they really missed a trick by not calling it "Game of Game of Thrones".

It's right up their alley. I think this is a passion product of theirs. They know the backstory and the right atmosphere for the franchise...but they aren't afraid to give you some empowerment. Something Sansa' storyline really lacked until season 4.
Also i'm pretty sure the chuckleheads at Cyanide games made that jab with their 2012 game.
"Game of Thrones, the game."

Anyone else played it? Think it's hype? My only complaint is, needs more Asher.

I'm not sure I can be arsed. I'm already playing the time-travelling hipsters game, and I've sunk into kind of an episodic malaise, recently.
I might get it for super duper cheap when the season is finished.

Truckloads!
Seriously, Asher is my favourite PC in this game. It's CRIMINAL how little utilized he is at this point.

Episode 4 is out now....AND IT'S PRETTY HYPE! More Asher, more Mira being able to manupilate things in her favour AND Rodrik is awesome as always. Deffo if you have the Glenmore's at your side...like yours truely. GET HYPE! GET ALL THE HYPES!

Linders just bought me this game as an early birthday gift! I can't wait to start playing... so excited... Thank you, My Linders! Edit, One Hour Later: This game is awesome! My first reaction to seeing the reveal of The Twins and the title card showing "The Twins: Red Wedding" was "Well, shit. This can't go well." I love this game!
