The voiceovers- Ah no - I think that's not it. On the character selections screen you do have a choice between the two accents. The game will automatically assume the one it thinks is most appropriate to your race, but you can switch that easily. I've seen many videos of people doing character selection and switching between accents to choose their favourite. Angry Joe ended up choosing a human with an American accent.
According to this forum, the English voice pack is for foreign language versions of Inquisition who want to hear it in its original English language. ----
The shine- I've no idea Clint but a few of the reviews complained about this as well! Especially regarding hair. I read one that warned readers to set 'lip shine' to zero unless they wanted to look like a ken doll.
What platform are you playing it on? All the footage I've seen, the shine looked okay but not ideal, but that was always Xbone or a very high end PC.

I watched my friend create his character one Share Play on PS4. There was indeed a selection option for the voice.

I posted the same issue on the bioware forum, and they told me to boost meshes to high.

Well I don't know what it means to tell someone to boost meshes to high, but it sounds like a pretty personal insult. I hope you didn't take that crap from them.

Let's just say they won't be telling anyone else that for a long time.

Are all you English speaking countries this weird or did I just stumble upon all the Anglo crazies on this one forum?

I can't stop chuckling at how much this picture looks like either Cullen or Leliana is taking a 'selfie'.

No, they look more like they've been gossiping about you and they give you "dat look". I know that look...sons of bitches.

So Today I got through most of the Hinterlands. I left the 2 rifts over in the west woods for later. After about 10 tries at the first one I said hell with it, hung a sign that said "Danger of Demons, don't go in here" and left. As usual, my biggest war is with my greedy nature and my limited carry supply.

I daren't click that until I've played a few hours!
How did your shiny problem go, Clint? Also, what platform are you playing it on?

From alerts i have seen in Origin, it looks like Clint is playing on PC.
I'm mulling the ethics of getting the game for myself before Christmas considering I have to scrounge to actually shop for others as well. Lily has said she cannot afford to buy the game for me fort eh holiday.
