I hate when a person wastes $12 on a small 10" pizza delivery (1.5 minutes away from his house, tops) and then has the gall to tell me he can't afford a tip.

It's an end to era at work. This week we have shut down our old system for sending orders to the kitchen. Everything comes up on monitor screens now. Each station only sees food come in as it is time to start on it and not before. this is going to make things eerily quiet as the pivot will no longer be calling orders or timing between stations any more. It's supposed to be more efficient, and maybe it is but kitchens are supposed to be loud places with cooks yelling at each other.
Strange times.
