I was thinking earlier about ways to lighten things up around here that allow us to get our personalities out without directing snark straight at each other.
All of us have or had work or school. Some pretty silly things can happen there. We gripe enough about our school or work so let's have a bit of fun with it as well.
I'll start.
Back on Monday I was receiving a product order of around 235 pieces. A three hour job for me, closer to 4 or 5 for another fellow who is not working there any more. In any event I was going over the invoices and I saw what at first looked like duplicate copies. Actually they were invoices for product that has to be ordered special. It came to about 35 pieces. Three of these things were duplicates and ordered by our supplier twice. Long story short I'm scratching my head trying to find space for all this shit that we barely use that was ordered twice as much as we needed because they inputted it twice in their system. I was not so much angry as bemused.
At least it got to us rather than sent 300 KM away to Yarmouth as happened to a whole pallet of my shit a few years back.

Last week we had a lady insist that she should be able to buy 2 pizzas for the total price of 5.99. Every bit of the advertising has been 5.99 EACH!

I think there is a cowboy superhero that works for She-Hulk's firm, forgot his name though...I know he was good buddies with Hawkeye.

The guy I'm referring to is a DC character who's on the "JV Squad" of sorts with the Justice League.

A couple of weeks ago I called the famous boxer Amir Khan on the phone and demanded he return his copies of 'Limitess' and 'The Bourne Legacy' or I would be forced to bill his credit card. It felt pretty surreal.

I'd be more worried if he had to tell him to return copies of "Little Women" and "Crazy Stupid Love".
Somehow, I doubt Khan's going to return his more predictable fare. With his salary, he probably expects to be billed for them.
