Christ, you're narkier than usual. Bad day? Who, me?

No me. Iron and I are trying to provoke one another while trying to hold the high ground of relative calmness.
Jesus Christ, this place these days.

First of all, I'm not trying to provoke anything. You're reading into something that doesn't exist. Second, you need to develop some thick skin. You appear to be getting offended way too easily of late.

I do miss the happier times when everyone got along and you were happier and cheerier and snarky in a funny way... I miss the old Mister Buch...

I miss the site where people didn't make retard jokes. Lily I know you didn't mean anything by that and you're a great person - I'm not trying to have a go at you-
But everyone, please stop acting like it's me. The problem here isn't that Buch has gone mad. It's that certain people who are the current regulars do not get on with Buch. Some of us have different politics, which come up a lot, and some of us say 'retard'. I swear there was no point in my life when I would have been okay with people saying that word near me.
I'm not a big fan of 'Nigga' either, but I didn't dare speak out twice!
I'm not getting along with certain folks here, and Iron by far more than any. I just support gun control and gay rights, and dislike slurs at the expense of the mentally handicapped - and find it difficult not to speak up when these things are challenged in my presence. That's all. I'm not out of my mind - I'm starting to feel like the main character of a horror film now, or Elijah Wood in 'The Good Son'. I just seem not to be a popular guy with the current crop of regulars when I speak my mind.
I'm not sure what I can do about that except be around less, which is a real shame considering my history with this place. But I promise, everyone - I'm not trying to cause trouble and I don't think I'm being unreasonable. I just don't - nor have I ever - like that kind of bullyish insult.
Now go ahead and tell me I'm insane and bemoan all the fights I start and lock the thread. I've said my piece in full for once.

Buch, when have I ever said anything about gay rights aside from "if they're not hurting anyone, then leave them be and let them live their lives as they see fit"?
As far as gun control goes, I disagree with you since a) guns and arms are part of my heritage, b) it's been proven by hard data that gun control does nothing more than disarm law-abiding citizens while the State and criminals have the monopoly of power, and c) most gun control advocates are trying to make me into a criminal simply because I choose to exercise what is recognized as a natural right in my country's constitution (no matter their reasoning, the result is I become a criminal for no good reason whatsoever; it's akin to being put in the stocks because I dared insult the Queen or something).

... I'm sorry...
I agree with you by the way... with the support of gay rights (rather, LGBT rights - covers it all) and the dislike of bullying...
All I meant was that I miss the days when everyone got along.
I think I might take another few days or so away from here... it's starting to feel tense again...
By the way, Mister Buch, you're not insane... and I never thought you were the one starting the fights...

Cheers. And sorry for getting serious after your post. None of it was directed at you, chief.
I think it'd be better if I was the one who left for a bit though. You're not the one who's at the heart of 90% of these fights. I think me staying out of everything is the way forward here - Lord knows Iron and I aren't going to get along and the endless debates with others aren't going to ease up.

But I'd miss you... you're one of my favorite people on here... I honestly think that you and I think a lot alike, and have a lot of the same opinions and ideas... Maybe stay on the Forum, and only pay attention to the threads that don't piss you off? *hopeful*

Buch, we may not see eye-to-eye on several things, but I suspect we're fairly alike in enough ways to respect one another. Hell, based on your writings like Mock Effect, I know we have similar senses of humor when it comes to good snark and we agree on things like cricket sucks, Michal Bay and Uwe Boll can eat a bag of dicks, and so on. It's just when we disagree, we do so pretty damn sharply.

I'm not sure about all that, Iron. We're certainly not alike - we needn't kid ourselves there. But it'd be nice if we both *tried* to reach a middle ground like that more often. And thanks for the Mock Effect part. Lily don't worry! I'm not planning a big dramatic martyr's flounce-off. Just less traffic from me. Unfortunately the parts of the forum that piss me off are everywhere and daily these days, and it's a pain in everyone's arse (including mine) if I stick around here hitting every one of them. EDIT: Oh smeg, and thanks! I agree, you and me have a lot in common. It's a real pleasure to know you here.

I was off today. Now I'm trying to work on Chapter 6 of Mock Effect 3. The general parts are all written, now to fill in the gaps without being stupid. (I know, I know, a lot of work)

Oy vey.
This shit always happens when I play an extended bout of ME multiplayer.
I'm sensing a pattern here...
Glad it cooled down before I needed to come in with a bucket of water.
Below this line no more politics dammit back to funny shit that happens at places we would rather not be

Not sure if this is a Pet Hate or an "All In A Day's Work" - but I really get annoyed with customers who lie through their teeth, or answer a question with a stock "No" before I even manage to ask the feckin' question.
Examples:
Customer: I want to know why there's a Speed Awareness Course listed on my policy. I was told those are confidential and you're not allowed to list that.
Me: *thinking* Then why the hell would we ask for it if we weren't allowed? *out loud* Well, I'm not sure why you would have been told that - we've always needed to know about Speed Awareness Courses, and it's been part of the required questions as far back as I can remember.
Customer: Well, the DVLA and the police both told me that it was not required information and you're not allowed to ask it. So I never told you about it.
Me: So when we ask the standard question "Have you had any motoring offences, fixed penalty points, or disqualifications including Speed Awareness Courses in the last 5 years, you said "No" even though you actually did?
Customer: *totally not getting that he just admitted to lying about an Insurance Policy* Exactly.
Me: Well, I do apologise for any misinformation you've been previously given but that is required information.
Customer: Well, I am going to go online for other quotes and I am not going to disclose that information, and if it gets me a better price then I will cancel with you and go with the better price.
Me: Well, that could very well void your policy. I really don't know what else to say here.
Customer: *hangs up* ______________
And:
Me: So now, for something I am required to ask, Have you had any-

Customer: *complete silence* ______________
*sigh* Sometimes I really hate my job.
As for the customer from the first example, I hope he does take out a policy with his falsified information and finds out later it's voided. He knows damn well he's lying.
I really need a vacation.
Or possibly lots of chocolate.
