That's a bit lame. I'm anxious to see how they're going to end up approaching DA3. With the Mass Effect trilogy over and done with, Dragon Age 3 may very well be the last BioWare game I buy for a while.
I'm not buying Command and Conquer. xD
Some of the stuff they've talked about has me intrigued (some of it sounds downright exciting), but it really comes down to what kind of game they want to make. The TOR business kinda sucks, but I want to refrain from talking bad about it, because I had a ton of fun with my bounty hunter. Once I got to the Revan subplot, things weren't as fun. =S

He does have a point but....
If he acted like a fucking professional, instead of being venomous with the said fandom in the first place, this whole thing would be more bearable. Same goes to the rest of the BioWare developers.
I'm just saying as a game designer myself. By the way, I wouldn't want to join them, because their attitude shows they are not-so-pleasant people to work with, thus scaring me off.

I was aware of that, but...
Whenever I hear of them, it reminds me of how much I've wasted six stupid years of studying games.
I've regret it. I should have gone psychology, philosophy or arts, instead of games. I feel like a deadbeat. It wouldn't matter if I tore up my degree certificate, it's that useless.

You know, just because Bioware have gone to shit, doesn't mean the whole industry has.
Good for Gaider, getting away from that forum, though. Maybe if he hadn't listened to some of the drones on there, his ego might still fit on Earth.

Also the Extended Cut for ME3 I liked...shows Bioware does care bout their fans. Think Riotgames does to with LoL sort of.

True, but again. I've research the whole industry extensively and I know how the wind is blowing and let's just say, now is probably the good time to reconsider some life changes.
But I'm not going to argue this, there's no point to it.
As for Gaider, to be fair the BSN is a terrible place, I can't blame him or other developers for not taking a peek there. Although, it would be nice if they stop by on Gamasutra.com for a bit and listen to the community there. They had some great critical analysis that could help save ToR.
Just sayin'.

I think the Dragonage Wikia should be given a look to from time to time. In a interesting note, the authors of Darkhorse comics actually use Wookiepedia as a research tool for their stories.

While we're at it, I think all developers should write their own lore bible, because honestly, no one knows their stuff more than themselves.
Chris Avallone did it.

He's got a fair point. Granted, he used up a lot of credibility backing DA2 when it was clearly a lackluster game (I forget why else he's on the shit list).

I think he had to. It's sort of like Harrison Ford berated Shia lebuttfuck for saying Indiana Jones 4 sucked. You gotta stick to your product, no matter what the outcome. Hell, Hally Berry went to the raspberry awards to recieve her award for sucking so bad in Catwoman.

To me, Gaider will always be the man behind Carth Onasi and Dragon Age Origins. I don't care how much he screwed up DA2, it doesn't outweigh those two things by a mile.

Gaider stayed with BiowarEA long enough to see himself become the villain.

Gaider rhymes with Vader. Just sayin'.
I am not going to waste time reading that man's blog. I skimmed it. I second what Tillian said about the BSN being a terrible place. But after all the condescending BS he threw at the fans who shell out the money that gives him a job I could care less about his hurt feelings.
I watched his meltdown on the BSN in real time as it happened. I stand by what I said at the time. Bioware should have locked him in a room with no internet access and let the PR people do their jobs. He was too close to the project to be even remotely objective in defending it. A smarter person would have realized that and let others handle it.
