I just watched a film version of the play Waiting for Godot.
I've never seen it before, so that absolutely blew my mind. I was talking to a friend a while back, who told me that despite the play's grand reputation he saw it and absolutely hated it. So I checked it out, just now. Paid very close attention. Now I don't know who I am or what day it is, and I'm very frightened.
Anyone here seen this? What did you think? I'm curious to get some opinions on this!

I haven't seen "Waiting for Godot" but I've studied and acted in Beckett's other play, "Endgame," which is in my humble opinion even more intense.
A couple years back (last year I think) I read Jean Paul Sartre's '"No Exit" which is about three people trapped in Hell. The absurdist theater really made an impression on my writing.

I just did a quick search for it, and I have no idea how one would even go about getting this. Not available anywhere, and I've never heard of the play itself.
You're making this up, aren't you! xD

That's interesting, because toward the end of Godot, I was wondering if they were in Purgatory. Knight - it's a very famous surreal play (over here, at least) by the Irish playwright Samuel Beckett. Here's a version with the X-Men!

I'd give my right arm and left foot to see them together on stage.
I'll check out this play on paper and keep an eye out for the home vidya version.

I get the impression it doesn't get filmed so much. The video my brother gave me is an old, old made for TV version.

There's a lot of speculation as to whether the characters are in some kind of limbo in "Godot". I'm pretty sure I'll have to analyze it in class pretty soon

Aha!
Homework: All of you watch this 2 hour play, and then tell me what it was about.

Aha! Homework: All of you watch this 2 hour play, and then tell me what it was about. The point is that you figure it out for yourself. Gee, Buch, way to take away the meaning. O.o
