Exactly my point.
I get the feeling that Shepard is going to be the anti-villian in my comics, where the protagonist (Zahra) had to duel her with words, to kick some sense back into her.

You can. For me, the ending is a betrayal. Unless by miracle that BioWare did add an extra patch that has the extra ending... oh boy, I can't express how pissed off I feel. Sorry I can't let that go. I mean, how would you feel if you have to deal with the NWN2 again? With your comic, you have a lot more at stake personally than I do. So being angry is understandable. Could you PM me a link to the original ending you referenced? It would be good to have a point of comparison. My reason for not getting upset is based on a notion that the Reapers should not be beatable without enormous sacrifice. After all they won every single time over how many repetitions? But if the lost ending is a way to beat them with less sacrifice that doesn't feel like a complete ass pull then I would be on board.

I would send you the PM if it weren't for the fact I can't find it now. Apprently EA took a few pages and vids down for some reason.
So yeah, I'm going to turn Shepard into a villian of sorts, so I can invoke the "(S)he who fights monster" plot device.

Are there still sub-machine guns in ME3? To answer your vital question, yes. Did you not see them in the demo, or the plethora of trailers or anything?

Well guys, one more sleep before Europe and Aus get it. Then Buch can stop hating the rest of us for the moment.
Enjoy.
I'll be joining you folks sometime next month along with my no doubt yawn inducing mini review that I have been giving on select games.

Why is everyone overreacting? I'm a nice guy!!!! Most of the time. If some poor sod wears an BioWare employee tag here... this ain't going to end well. Thank fate for making me stuck in Uni for the most part. got the game, but unlike the past ME games... I'll play it slowly... and wedge with Cathrine and 999 in between my play sessions. Along with working my Mana Era project...

This picture (found on the escapist forums) really kind of breaks down what EA/Bioware seems to be trying yo (clumsily) say about day one DLC. I can't say I'm any happier about it but it makes perfect sense to me. Edit The spelling is bad in places but fails to invalidate the point made

That's what they're trying to say, and I think this chart popped up shortly after they made this claim, but surely whether or not a company thrives post-launch isn't dependent on day one DLC alone.
Bethesda just released Skyrim sans any kind of DLC, and they managed to keep everyone employed. (Minus the people at ID Software, but that was on account of how RAGE did on the market.)

Javik is clearly just a full companion they cut out and expected us to pay more for. My love of conspiracies and dislike of EA is enough to keep me thinking that, at any rate.
