Ok, So I need a little help. I'm writing Mock Effect 2.9: A Three Hour Tour (Or Clippit's Revenge), and I'm looking for an alternate universe to freak our heroes out. Remember when Joker says anywhere but here? I intend that for a brief period, they will be somewhere entirely different. Alas, my geekness only extends so far. The only one I can think of is Star Trek, and I really nothing but the basic knowledge of that universe. Well, that or star wars. Either way, what's a view that immediately makes you think of a different universe? (therefore obvious to other non-geeks...) Star Trek's Academy? Hoth the ice planet? PM me or reply on here. I can't guarantee which one I'll use, but your help would be greatly appreciated.

The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. Or the Cathedral of Hate (though I would imagine people would more readily identify with the first choice). (Both courtesy of Douglas Adams for those who wonder WTF they are from.) Jane or Joker could be a vegan (hey, would YOU trust Gardner's cooking?) and have a chat with the cow that plans to shoot itself and turn itself into a great meal. Edit: Corrected grammar since NaNo killed my typing skills tonight. Apparently it did a number on my spelling too.

I second 'Chantress's idea. Maybe show a news clip of Beeblebrax kidnapping himself or whatever the hell he did to steal/borrow The Heart of Gold. Hehe, that could be something to tell Jane just how GOOD she has it with the council. ;D

A New Idea I had was the Green Lantern City. It would be immediately identifiable, and wouldn't be hard to do in a 3 or 4 line gag.
