"So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and Demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and Its purpose in the service of your people.
Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, Even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and Bow to none. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the food and For the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, The fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and nothing, For abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts Are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes They weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again In a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home."
- Chief Tecumseh

Interesting quote, from an interesting man. Did a little reading about him just now. Sad ending to his story, like so many others like him.

His story illustrates just how much difference there was in the Indian tribes.

"Put your assumptions aside, this is a Wonder Woman book that's actually worth reading!" - Some reviewer's hilariously honest summation of Wonder Woman's 70 year publication history on the back of the first volume of the New 52 Wonder Woman.

"By Jove, you fucking hedder of a woman! Surrounded by fifty vampire Nazis armed literally to the teeth, and what do you do? You get out of your fucking car, pull out your sword, cut off one of their heads and yell "Come at me, you Kraut shits"! No wonder Alucard wants to plow that virgin soil. I'm thinking about growing some flowers myself! Ha ha ha ha."

Rather twisted stuff, that Anime and manga, what little I have seen of it. I rather enjoy Alucard's take on that obnoxious tumbler phrase "check your privilege."

I love Hellsing: Abridged. Every episode is worth waiting a year for.

Again, Kirsten Dunst comes across as the innocent girl in majority of her roles – but don’t be fooled. Even she enjoys her cigarette.

Watching the movie "Mirror Mirror" on Netflix (the Snow White remake with Lily Collins and Julia Roberts) and I had to laugh when the Prince's Manservant says this line in reference to the Evil Queen:
Charles Renbock: There's 'I'm in the same room as a prince' crazy, and then there's good old fashioned plain traditional psycho crazy. *looks around furtively, then whispers quietly* I fear she's the latter.

Watching the first episode of "Agents of SHIELD" and I had a really good giggle when Agent Coulson was talking to Agent Ward: Coulson: Agent Hill did a very detailed assessment of your last three missions. Combat, top grades. Espionage, she gave you the highest marks since Romanoff. Under people skills she drew a... I think it's a little poop, with knives sticking out of it. Ward: WHAT? Coulson: That's bad right? Clark Gregg is awesome...

Oh, being in the military is awesome some times. Having a sarcastic remark always at the ready makes dealing with trolls more entertaining. Basically, someone told me, quite abrasively mind you, that I need to stop listening to Dream Theater and listen to Tool.
My response: "Based on the fact you're speaking to me, it would seem I'm already listening to a tool."
